Go through with it agreed! You live once...

Finally out of prod! Lost the tire lottery but super stoked on how this build turned out considering I still haven't seen an IGM 992 in person. My plan is to wrap mirror caps in gloss black when I go for PPF and then maybe PC the wheels gloss black as well unless the titanium finish grows on me. Onwards!!

I actually love my build, just want a manual and better seats so it will look similar. I plan to take it slow so we have endless opportunities to test every performance part in isolation and get more data in a consistent fashion. We're excited for it!

Dumb question, but how did you get TYD to show up in the My Porsche app? I can see my order, commission number, delivery date etc on the web. But when I sign in with the same Porsche ID in the iOS app my order isn’t there.
It asks me for a VIN when I try to add a vehicle (which clearly I don’t have yet)

I likely have driven your car as I started my automotive career in ‘97 at Brumos as the Porsche inventory manager. I coordinated reconditioning of pre-owned, handled accessories and clean up of new, & set up the lot and showroom. Did it for two years and then moved in to service. Unfortunately nobody wanted a sticker from me after driving their car… It was an unreal experience working with everyone including Hurley and Snodgrass. Went to tons of races drove everything imaginable including a number of the Brumos Collection cars. I was in my early 20s and didn’t fully realize how unique that whole particular time was until every job after turned out to be dull as dishwater by comparison.

If PTS: Signal Yellow, forged wheels, buckets, RAS, Bose.
Whomever ordered this, you did an awesome job: Buy used Porsche 911 Carrera T at Porsche Greensboro Minimal options, but the right ones (for me).

Porsche Greensboro has been sitting on that one for a while.
PTS is an entirely emotional decision. It should be a decision you make because you completely love that specific color and you just roll the cost of it into the total of your car without thinking about how much it costs on its own. If you are trying to place a monetary recoupable value on it, then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Yes, PTS Ts are incredibly uncommon but the high demand for PTS cars on the secondary market usually resides with the GT car market due to the very limited standard color choices on those and many GT car owners value individuality and being able to stand apart from the other GT cars. There's almost an expectation that some GT cars are PTS. It also depends on the actual color you are choosing. Is it really something that will stand out or is it another shade of flat gray? I would not expect a generous selection in whatever color refresh that may occur. Despite whatever rumors there are, 992.1 is heading into its end of production life whether it be this year or next so Porsche is not going to be dropping a slew of new color options for it. Look at the new generation models of Panamera and Macan EV on the configurator for the color tones that Porsche is moving in the direction of to get an indication of what may possibly be in store in terms of future choices. Porsche keeps adding color tiers to slot in any color that may be interesting so you'll likely be paying extra no matter what unless you select white or black.

Others are likely to disagree. A colleague has bet that our mint green car will be wrapped in a more subtle shade within six months.
No matter, the most important, maybe the only important, critic of how your car looks is you.
