I think they get around this by saying that the manufacturer does not set the price, only suggests it to the retailer. The retailer is free to set the actual price, and the manufacturer is selling to the dealer not to the consumer. If the dealer advertised a car at MSRP and then tried to increase the price, I think that's what would violate the act.
It’s part of the consumer protection act, where it is illegal to sell something above the advertised price. As long as Porsche publish MSRP on their website and literature, it prevents dealers from charging ADM.

I have Burmester in the Taycan, and it is perfectly suited to that car, particularly with the noise insulated glass. I'm getting Burmester in the 992 simply because I hate the idea of paying so much for a vehicle and having what by all accounts is a substandard base audio system. Even if the 992's noise levels and cabin aren't optimal for listening to music, I'd still rather have better sound.
Edited to add: it does seem pretty cynical of Porsche not to offer Bose. I don't think the Bose system is great, but it's certainly better than the base, and it would be good enough for the T. I think they've made the calculation that many people will feel the same as me, and my guess is that Burmester is a really high margin option for them.

Three Wheelin'
My SA told me that they are removing all Bose at this time from any Porsche order due to parts supply. Bose can't keep up with the orders right now. I asked if Porsche then lets the customer chose to downgrade to basic audio or upgrade to Burmester and he said it's just downgraded. For that reason alone, I'd rather pick Burmester even if Bose was available as a tick box.

Even before the pandemic we had markups, they would just hid it in fees - i.e. we would get double billed for PDI or transport fees, or be asked to pay doc fees totaling >1k. Of course these were all negotiable, but so are markups.

Burning Brakes
I have been thinking about getting rid of my 2021 GT4. I love the car but I have had 2 knee surgeries since I ordered it and I have a lot of trouble getting in and out of the LWB. So I talked to my SA today and he said I can get the 911T and I submitted a build through PNA. I am looking for a light car that will be fun to drive and do some light tracking. This is what I came up with:
-Leather Interior w/ Checkered Sports-Tex Seat Centers
-Deviated Stitching Chalk
-Knee Pad w/ Deviated Stitching
-Rear Side Panel w/ Deviated Stitching
-Door Panel w/ Deviated Stitching
-Center Consol w/ Deviated Stitching
-Deviated Stitching Interior Package
-Dashboard w/Deviated Stitching
-7 Speed manual
-Color Chalk
-Sun Visors in Race-tex
-Adaptive Sport Seats 18 way
-Pedals In Aluminum
-20"/21" RS Spyder Design Wheels
-Fire Extinguisher
-GT Sport Steering Wheel In Race-Tex
-Interior Trim Inlays in Exterior Color
-Smoking package
-Ambient Lighting
-Storage package
-Lane Change Assist (because I live where their are a lot of crazy drivers)
-Under Door Puddle Light Projectors
-Power Folding Mirrors
-Front Spoiler Lip in Exterior Color
-Model Designation Changed to 911
-PDLS+
-Extended Range Fuel Tank
MSRP $140,860
No Burmister because I cannot even hear the Bose system in my GT4, I imagine this will be a loud car also. I am thinking about Rear Wheel Steering.

Was anyone able to attend the LA Auto Show and see the Carrera T in person? If so, I would love if you could share some of your photos! I am particularly interested in the Sport Tex vs. Carrera T interior package as I am going back and forth between them. I love the look of the Python Green interior but I have ordered Shark Blue. So I am going back and forth between the full leather/sport tex interior + blue seatbelts vs. the Carrera T interior in slate

I think this looks like a great build! I'm curious about your selection of deviated chalk stitching vs the Carrera T interior package in Slate

I'm with you and I'm very adventurous when it comes to wearing or using colors that you don't typically see but Neo is butt ugly (and I like purple to boot which this shade is not far from).

Porsche didn't have any T with Carrera T interior package there so can't really make a comparison. But the standard sport tex looks and feels pretty good.
I ordered Shark Blue as well and after sitting inside I have decided to go with full leather with sport tex.
