Looks to me like the standard interior with just yellow belts optioned. This doesn’t look like it has a T interior package with slate stitching or pin striping on the seats.

It's the photography. Black Porsche interiors tend to look more grey in photography. I agree the stitching looks grey, but so does the leather.

I have the Yellow Seat Belt option with the T Sport Tex 18-way seats... I do not have the Slate Grey T Stitching, HOWEVER, even in person (not just pictures) The stitching appears slate/Agate grey in color... The leather is very black in person, but the alcantara, sport tex seats and stitching all look far more grey than black... It wouldnt surprise me if Porsche used a Agate grey stitch on the T cars to match all the other Agate bits... but they don't advertise it that way, so probably just personal opinion

Anyone see this 992 T that just went up on auction?

https://sothebysmotorsport.com/aucti...11carrerat-155

Looks like a pretty rich build, but with PDK. 🤔

Rich? Base wheels, no sport design....how rich could it be? Maybe I am missing your meaning. I agree with all of you that say, order the car you want, but clearly this person is a flipper...I think ventilated seats really hurts resale.

Looks like a mid 130s car and I don't find the build particularly appealing. Curious to see what it goes for. Dealers are asking about $20k over but so far auctions don't quite reach MSRP.

So sorry to quote my own post, but have others heard that the sport design front isn't available right now? I got the impression that if I put it on my build sheet it may delay production if it's not available. Any quick thoughts would be appreciated. Tomorrow I lock!

I'll post my code after I submit.

Thanks.

Have not heard that SD isn’t available. If you want it go for it. Your SA will tell you if it’s not available or gets kicked back.

I am about to spec ventilated seats so that I get a full leather interior, which with the T there is no other option.
What's the reason that makes you think that ventilated seats harm resale? additional weight or that they don't function properly?
I am UK based so this may only effect the US used market?

I had a sad issue with my first allocation well documented on this thread. it was frozen early May built end of June arrived at the dealer on July 17th, The issue of the Vin normally means the car is about to enter production. Maybe you missed when it was first announced.
I am locking my spec next week (a little early to be safe) build due mid October delivery due at present 24th November.
As NewTo911s say check with Sytner. Hope that helps but it sounds to me like all should be good for the 6th October arrival.
Thank you both

Sadly, my sales advisor isn't overly helpful and I only really get updates when I chase them. I can't say it's been the best experience of a new car purchase so far.

This was the lastest response from them when I asked if it was stuck at stage 3 and if delivery was likely to be pushed back.

'Looks like expected day is 06/10/2023 I can’t see any more details I am afraid. Next step should be Port Emdem'

The consensus is the Sport Tex seats are unique, particularly with the pin stripes available, and optioning them out kind of kills the specialness of the T. Not my personal opinion, as there is an *** for every seat.

We are close to the end of 992.1 production, so as Porsche runs out of the more bespoke options, the situation becomes one of take what you can get. If you can get SportDesign and the only deterrent is a production delay, you should option it. Good things come to those who wait. However, I’m not sure the part in red above makes sense because the 992.1 doesn’t really have “a while” to go.

I would call the GM then. You're spending a lot of money and want to get the options right. The GM for the dealership should know whether or not there is a problem with SD and if it might potentially delay the build.

Glad to help.
I think many UK dealers fall below par on new car sales.
If it is not too intrusive what is your build spec? Apologies if you have posted it before.
Many thanks.
