This prompted me to put together this video, which I'm sure will get a lot of hate, saying that maybe the 911T (as well as some other 911 variations) is a better and more accessible option. Probably preaching to the choir here but feel free to tell me I'm wrong!

Well done.

I don’t know, maybe that’s why it went more difficult than I had planned

I have missed your post but yes! I thought I was the only one didn’t even occur to me it was the glas. Strange because I have never had this issue with other Porsche glass. This lightweight glass indeed is a bad invention. And terribly tested before put into production. It gets very dirty on the inside probably because of temp issues inside vs outside and airco and breath/oxygen? You can clean it but gets dirty pretty quickly again.

Skip it. Cost too much while adding almost nothing compared to other brands. I always had it. Now I don’t have it in the T and have not missed it one second. There is enough light in the interior from the upper light in the roof lining. And I am a ambient light lover.

This button. Press to disable/enable. Hold it a few seconds to turn it completely off.

I had no idea the steering wheel controls were backlit. I don't think I have driven at night yet. (I am also not a fan of steering wheel controls, so I may have tried to ignore them!).

Big fan of the extra splash of color. that a decal? I'm certain you realize the for extinguisher is upside down, but wanted to showcase the yellow detail. If it is a decal, I would rotate the extinguisher properly and reinstall the decal. (Sorry, OCD has been bothering me since I first saw ti yesterday.)

I couldn’t resist. Ha, looks like you’re adding at least 2 quarters. Tough crowd with comments like “No Sh..”. A shy country boy like me would probably get eaten up alive there. I’m just barely getting by here with minor cuts and bruises….

I've actually been putting this in Sport mode on both my Pcars lately. I'm exploring and enjoying the car a bit more every day. Now I can kick the back end out around turns if I so choose. My biggest issue is finding the roads to do it safely. Between traffic, pot holes and debris on the road, not to mention video cameras and policy, it's tough to find those "safe" places these days! Thank goodness there were no cameras when I was growing up!

The Extingusiher is "Upside down" but on this bracket, it seems to fit fine either way. The Lettering is not a decal. They painted it on and clear coated over the entire thing, so it cant be moved... its double sided, but I liked having the strap opening where the lettering shows through the best, so I am going to leave it like this. Doesn't get in the way of the passenger so its ok

Then I too would display it as you are. Your shop most likely didn't realize it sits in a particular way. You should mention it to them for the next one they do for a client. As anyone who took the time to do that work in paint and bury it in clear would want it placed correctly. Otherwise upside down extinguishers are going o become the new leave the spoiler up when parked in your neck of the woods.

its funny. I actually drove the car over with the bracket installed and placed the extinguisher in it the correct way, they took a pic and this is still the location…but it’s because we didn’t realize where the buckle of the strap would sit. I just laid it down in place and didn’t buckle it.
but yes. Now we know

100% agree with this, in hindsight I would not have optioned this as I think it was a waste and agree on the day comment as well.

I was wondering if I would have missed the ambient lighting option on my T . I really don’t as I don’t drive a ton at night either . I did spring for the projectors for the doors as they were cheap enough and my other 2 cars have them so I didn’t want the 911 to be the odd man out
