Coding 992

Starting this thread for some of us to subscribe in case any user or group of users successfully codes a 992. So far, PIWIS III is required, original or clone, to the best of my knowledge. iCarsft, Launch X431+ and others don't work with this, as far as I know.
Anyone knows otherwise?
Someone actually had their hands on a PIWIS III tester and coded a 992? If so, what could get done? My hopes are for the choice in start/stop timing, the numerous unnecessary disclaimers and pop-ups, matrix headlight activation (for off-road use only, of course), and perhaps features yet to come available in future 992 models. I believe some PCM features should be programmable as well. Folks coding with the older platform, notoriously 957.1 and .2, were relatively successful. Other brands (starts with B and ends with W for example) are much easier to code.
This could work for other P-cars that require PIWIS III for coding (Models with the large central screen, I believe).
Thanks in advance.

Is there a decent catalogue of known tweaks available on the 992 using piwis other than reading through this entire thread and Siberian's other coding thread? It would be really nice to have a single post to reference. Here's what I've found from reading through the two threads
Confirmed Available
- Opening windows/sunroof with key fob (link)
- # of blinks produced by a one-tap of the turn signal (link)
- Adding PSE-style valve control to non-PSE equipped cars (link)
- Enabling Matrix LED functionality in US cars (link)
- Changing speedo (link) and tach needle (link) colors (perhaps must be done as a pair?)
- Disabling seatbelt chime (link) and airbag activated warning (link)
- Enable passenger mirror lowering in reverse (link)
- Turn on the rear light bar alongside DRLs during daytime driving (link)
- Changing the names of drive modes (e.g. Sport Plus -> Track, Individual -> Race)
- Adding/removing Power Steering Plus (link)
- Change the car silhouette on the splash screen (link) (anyone know if an Aerokit silhouette is available?
I'll check this next time I play around with it)
- There's also another steering profile setting (link)? John reported steering was more direct (I assume that means faster ratio?)
- Prevent retractable spoiler from deploying (e.g. after Aerokit retrofit, to eliminate error messages) (link). But this seems to be a different/hacky way versus how a dealer does it?
Seemingly Impossible
- Disabling auto-start-stop
- Adding driving modes (e.g. Sport, Sport+, Individual) to a car without Sport Chrono
Wish List
- Increase idle time before the driver must tap the accelerator for the car to start moving again automatically with ACC/InnoDrive
- Get rid of the ugly unlit section when the brakes are applied while the headlights are off. (Maybe the best option here is to enable the light bar with the DRLs, since the full light bar lights up when the headlights are on?)
- I vaguely recall reading that on some older/other models (maybe 991.2, or 718?) it's possible to switch to the GT3 (or GT4) electric power steering calibration profile. Anyone looked into this on the 992, or know what it actually did (different ratio? more force feedback?)
- Tweak Matrix LED functionality to be more aggressive. They seem to only turn on when there are no street lights around, even when there are only a few lamps and they aren't very bright. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- The GT3 RS shows actual numeric tire temperatures rather than just the bars. Can that be activated on other models?

Would be nice to be able to put the car in dyno mode without the expensive PIWIS III.

I don't doubt there are capabilities to change the dashboard configuration. I know that there are a lot of checkboxes that could be used, based on what the Cayenne folks managed on the older platform.

When the car is on a dyno, it puts the car in a mode where it does not expect the front and rear wheels to be rotating at the same speed. Even rear wheel drive only, will fault on a dyno unless front and rear wheels are moving in sync. Most manufacturers have the ability to do this in the car setup. Porsche only allows it with the PIWIS tool.

I would like to know if it can enable full LED-Matrix anti-dazzle functionality. If it's possible, I would spec this out on my build and "bribe" a tech to code it. But I'm not laying out the $2000 upgrade w/o knowing that it can be done just with coding and not additional hardware.

I coded my M4 a few years ago, with about 15-20 features that are turned off for the US market, but available in. Europe. As a newbie to the Porsche community, I hope coding the 992 eventually becomes a reality. At least with BMW, there are so many great features available after they activated by coding.

I know for a fact you can get windows up and down with the keyfob. Which included sunroof tilting up or closing from wide open on a 991.2 (I did it on two 991.2). And I got my rear spoiler programmed to not go so high once I got the sport design spoiler on my 19 GTS. Im willing to bet we have a lot more coding options than we know off.

Teardrop mode is an option with the Cayenne (activate the wiper 10s after the last movement to dry any rolling drop).
Power and sport graphs are likely available too.

For roughly $1,300, if one of these would allow activating the full LED Matrix functionality I'd be totally down with a group purchase (i.e., a group buys one) and then sharing it. Not that I'd have any idea how to actually turn on the functionality.
