Hear me out on this one.
I bought the 911 and the macan a new garage floor.
We have a double garage and before we owned the house it was used a snooker/pool room. They had 5 layers down starting with damp proof, foam, chipboard, insulating foam, then a real oak floor.
stripped it back to the concrete base (it stunk, mould and damp) so waiting for it to dry a bit then the new pvc interlocking tile floor goes down in a week or two.
Both cars arrive in December, can’t wait!

Aftermarket "Puddle Lights"
For $15.99 via Amazon. I wired these aftermarket "Puddle Lights" up in my garage. The price seemed to indicate a "slight" lack of quality. However, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The attached is a slightly better image than the reality, but the reality is pretty damned close and quite visible in the daylight as well.

New sills added
Just installed a set of Sports sills this afternoon. Easy removal and replacement in my garage. No special tools required. Sorry but dint take pics of the process.

The dealer quoted me roughly 2k USD in total for the sills, paint and installation work but 1k for the paint + work seems a bit harsh, as it's not exactly rocket science to install them... How many minutes did it take for you, 30-40 perhaps?

The lowest price I could find on-line for what Porsche calls "SportDesign Side Skirts" Part Number: 99204482100; was from Delaware Porsche Parts at $1,107.60 although there are quite a number of on-line dealers selling them for $1,117.32 so the cost of shipping, if they charge for shipping would probably be a significant thing to think about. The cost to paint will almost certainly depend on the color. Unless they can be had from Porsche pre-painted (like motorcycle manufacturers); black should be the least expensive, then solid colors followed by metallic colors.

Went to the warehouse and met John, inventor and true car guy. Very nice meeting another car aficionado in the Chicagoland.
Very well finished and relatively light for what it can do. I like this option due to the lack of moving parts and portability. It should pay itself with a couple of brake pads and wheels swap down the road.
next, jack and power wrench.
Low profile adapter for 911

There are quite a number of YouTube Videos on this subject. This one is showing a Macan (I believe), but the task is identical on a 911. A number of the YouTube videos seem to spend a good bit of time where the author expounds on their extensive opinions. This one does that a bit as well, but at least he gets to the point fairly quickly.
