Did you actually attach the strap to the cap or is it just tucked in somewhere? I didn't see a spot to attach it, so I just removed it from the door entirely.
No it attaches - there is a little hook on the flip up door that the plastic piece connects to.
However, I might take mine off, as I do not let it dangle anyway..
Yes. it is the same as on the back. I was going to paint mine CWM like the car, but the silver actually matched the interior mostly, so just stuck it on as it was. Easily removed if I grow tired of it, but think it looks ok.

Id totally do that too. But its 72 bucks plus tax and shipping. Good lord Porsche! enough with the price gouge!
12 hours into ownership I’ve installed the clear side markers, and I have 2 things to say about this mod.
1. It looks SOOOO much better with clear side markers.
2. This is the easiest mod I’ve ever done to any car. Took literally 1 min for the driver side and 2 min for the passenger side. Had it not been middle of summer and my hands all sweaty the passenger side would have also taken 1 min.

Weird, I didn't see it. Doesn't matter to me, as I do the same - I put it on the door, but I was just curious.
Yea, I was just wondering if I missed something on the replacement cap, curiosity more than anything else.
I misunderstood your question at first.
The cap should have come with the little plastic connector string thing attached to a plastic circle/washer. The circle part goes entirely around the screw in cap and fits just below the aluminum part (so goes around and then seeds just under the cap. It doesn't as much attach to the physical cap as it goes around and up (almost like a washer does for a bolt. Then the plastic string connector attaches to the door with a hole and loop connection.
that looks amazing!!! Well done!! I personally hate the piano finish surrounds for that very reason. Looks great until you touch it. Who produced these for you? Is it a carbon wrap?

agree, love the look and would like to do the same. If you did this yourself which wrap did you use and did you remove the pieces to wrap them.
I also see you didn’t wrap the top piece, I guess because of the screens. Could cutting around the screen so it’s still visible still work?
