You placed it under the dumbells? Talk about risk tolerant. Totally OT but how are the Swiss Trax for the weight room?
Swisstrax are great, I have the hard plastic ones for under all the equipment and the ruberized version in front of squat rack, deadlift and bench area.
How did you decide where to place it and how did you line it up?
Judt took s look at spacing similar to the location of the Heritage package interior just to the left of the passenger cupholder. No real science to my location.
Has anybody installed and/or compared this to the standard shifter in a 992 or the Numeric shifter?
I assume it’s the same as the stock GTS shifter? If so, I ran with stock GTS for a little over 20k miles and I’ve had the numeric in for a little over 10k miles. I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade, personally. I don’t notice a significant difference. I’m not sure how either compares to the stock S shifter though.
I think a sport shifter **** makes way more difference and I think it sits lower than OEM **** too. I would change that first if you haven’t yet.

Thanks for that insight, especially since it’s so easy to get caught up in the modification whirlwind. I have never had an issue with the stock C2S shifter, but reading the threads makes you start to question if there’s something you’re missing.
also installed cargraphic valve controller and decided not to install my titanium akra exhaust, so it is now for sale for $4,000 if anyone is interested!

I'm keen to hear what shift **** you're running? I drove someone's 991.2 GT3 with a numeric shifter and it made my GT4's shifter feel like it had play in it. I've now got a numeric shifter at home, ready in my soon to come GTS and sportshifters **** on order. My biggest concern with the 7 Speed was the shifter feel.
I'm going to drive stock for a while to get a feel for the stock shifter and break in the car.
Well I got a chance to install the Airbag Delete stickers on my visors and pleased w/ the outcome. Didn’t want to deal with alcohol or other chemicals and this took a bout 5 minutes.
Pics are dark although I used an LED light to try and capture the look but barely noticeable unless you are looking for it.

I'm in the same boat. Honestly, the shifter feels just fine to me. I might pop the top off the stock shifter and fill it with some tungsten shot to add a little weight, but even that low level of effort is not really worth it to me at this point (that is, I've not shifted and been like "wow, I wish I could improve this experience" - it just hasn't even occurred to me).

Indeed! I think I’m just going to leave it alone and focus on finding a Kline exhaust (…the exhaust being, yet, another thing I have no issue with in stock configuration). The Kline just sounds really good to me at high RPM’s. I’m in no rush though since Exclusive Option just tapped me for another $5K worth of interior goodies.
