I am seeing a similar delay, also on west coast just not NorCal.
My C2S was to be in Colorado 2/11. Last week got pushed back to 3/18. Have a hard time verifying with Porsche or my dealer that the car is actually in Emden. Production completed on 12/14. Painful. 🤬

Same here this is painful. Couldn’t verify with either. My vehicle was also completed on the same day as yours.
My GTS goes to configuration freeze in 11 hours. Scheduled to go to production on February 2nd (hopefully) with delivery early April.
I have a Taycan 4S CT which has been sitting at Emden port since 12/15 so I hope that catches a ship soon.
Are you guys doing 1-year maintenance and Porsche Tire & Wheel ? Just got my final quote...
When I got my previous 992 in Nov 19 I got the free 1st year maintenance and didn’t get anything additional. I generally don’t get the tire and wheel insurance and over the long term it has worked out though I did get a puncture the first month of ownership of my previous 992 which cost me replacing a tire for $600. I may look at the tire and wheel package this time depending on how much it costs. The 1st year maintenance is still free though so you shouldn’t be paying for that.
UPDATE: just kidding, yeah right... still waiting on an allocation. FML. Can't believe how difficult it is to try and give somebody almost $200,000 for a car. I seriously think it'll take long enough to get a Targa4S allocation that by the time I get it, "wait for 992.2" will be a real consideration.

I think i said it wrong, the 1-year maintenance must be one additional year after the free year. It's like a grand.... The tire and wheel is nearly 3K

Double check it because with my prior 992 my dealer tried to sell me pre-paid maintenance and the price seemed like they were charging for the first year even though it was free. I think it was over $ 3.5k for 2 additional years which seemed too high.
My estimated delivery date was just pushed back on TYD by a month end feb -> end of march. Am in Northern California / car allegedly sitting at Emden.
curious whether anyone else in NorCal seeing a similar delay
I too have been delayed a full month. Original dealer delivery date was 2-18-22. It recently got pushed to 3-18-22. TYD is still showing "arrival at Emden port". Its been stuck in this phase since 12-21-21. Time will tell if it staying on track from here.
(final delivery to MN)
Good Afternoon. I am brand new to this Board and I am learning. I had a 1985 911 that I didn't like very much and sold it in 1990. Hard to shift, bad A/C, bad brakes......... In any event, I am not getting any younger so I decided to try again and went to my local Porsche dealer because I want to order a Targa 4. Played with the Configurator and had an idea of options and color. Still can't decide color but that is another issue that I am sure many have.
But my question is the process that many of you appear to well understand. The dealer took a copy of my driver's license and said he is "waiting for an allocation". He claimed that "putting me on the list" would help the dealership get an allocation. Once they do get an allocation I could then place an order. Thereafter it would take 6-9 months for my car to arrive. I know you are all familiar with this process having lived it. But, was what I was told correct? Is this the process to order a car? Lastly, given the delay I would rather have an early 2023 than a late model year 2022--but perhaps beggars (amazing that someone who wants a $150,000 car is a beggar) can't be choosers.
Plus - If I were buying a used car I would prefer a lower mileage 2020 than a higher mileage 2021 if you get what I am saying. There will not be a difference between a 2022/2023 except price will be more for the 2023 no doubt. Could be $4000 more.
