The dealership is notified by the port once the vehicle has been assigned to a transport truck. They aren't given any schedule for when that is expected to happen, but they are at least given this heads up to be ready to accept the vehicle and schedule the dealer prep work. My dealership is fairly small, and the sales manager gets the notification and he lets everyone know, including the customer. I'm sure larger dealerships with layers of bureaucracy are different and SAs may not even be aware of this.

TYD finally updated from On Vessel to Port Processing. None of the milestone dates have changed though, including the ones that have just been completed 🙄 Anyway, huge progress being made and it shouldn't be long to wait now.

I am fortunate enough to have a great relationship with my local dealer and they gave me an early Christmas present and provided and installed the clear side markers. They go great with the Porsche Exklusive clear tail lights.

My GT Silver 911 Carrera S Cabriolet's journey just slipped a week; now at the Emden port and scheduled to depart on Dec 3, arriving to the port of Houston on December 24th. It has been a long wait.

Don't think it is a big deal. The stops so far are all 12-24 hours, and at least Mexico is on the way to San Diego. At least it is not heading towards Brazil

JRW1.......Looks as though my CWM Carrera Cabriolet will be shipmates with your car as my dates are showing exactly the same as yours. Headed for Davisville.

According to my SA, car has exited production and schedule to arrive Jan 28. We have neutered TYD in Canada, so no pictures 😢
