Just paid the deposit this afternoon from a Porsche dealer and the salesman informed me, probably not until May 2022, that will be the earliest time to allow me for choosing the options.
Start production date of 11/12/2021 - but looks like it hasn't been started yet...
Not the biggest of deals waiting a bit longer but was wondering if anyone else got stuck here... maybe a part delay? Maybe Zuffenhausen is just behind.
Interestingly looks like factory is open and pumping out cars on Sat and Sun but closed Mondays...

Don't trust this right now. I'm in the same place. My TYD was supposed to move to "start production" on 11/12, but it still hasn't updated. Meanwhile, I asked my salesperson to check status on his end and he shows my car entering the body shop on 11/9/21 and I can see a VIN for it.
My 992 landed in Davisville, RI yesterday 11/15/21 on Siem Confucius, the delivery date however got moved out to 12/17/21. My original dates were loading on the ship 11/19 (but it got loaded 17 days early) and delivery date of 12/10, but it got moved out to 12/17. Does it take 32 days for port processing to the dealer ... the dealer is only 51 miles away. My SA is giving evasive answers about port processing time etc. Just getting really impatient knowing the car is just 50 miles away from me and having to wait a month.
Did anybody have their cars on SIem Confucius and if so what are your delivery dates? and second is it really taking this long at port processing ?
Appreciate any response ... this wait is killing me !!!
My car is on Siem Confucius scheduled for Jacksonville around 11/20 - TYD indicates at dealer in Atlanta 12/17 - it will probably be there a week earlier
My friends 911 arrived at the dealer in Ct on 11/11 it took 12 days to get from Davisville
I think your car will be at the dealer within 2 weeks 🤞🤞🤞

My car was on the Siem Confucius, got off in Rhode Island, and is headed to a dealership on LI. My SA said they have 50 cars in Rhode Island waiting to be trucked to the dealership, and said mine should arrive at the dealership within the next 10 days. FWIW, TYD says it'll be at the dealership on 11/26.
Thrilled to say that my vehicle delivered on Monday and thrilled with the final result. It has been an amazing process from start to finish and wish everyone best of luck and success as their creations get built and delivered. In the end it is well worth the wait as these truly are amazing vehicles and hope all new owners create some memorable driving adventures of their own.
Vista6019, just curious, did your 911 come through Houston last week on Felicity Ace? Beautiful car!

Well, I don't know for sure that it's on a truck yet, but it should arrive at the dealer at some point within the next 10 days. Each truck carries 6-8 cars, so just a matter of how quickly my car gets a spot.

Another car with swapped out fender lights. Looks like your dealer did this for you as well. Did not think dealers could sell cars like this. But, looks awesome!

While we were going over the configuration on my 992 GTS, my dealer asked me if I wanted them to switch the fender lights before I take the delivery of the car. I was pleasantly surprised!

Really beautifully specced, I love those wheels and that you have them with the colored Porsche crest. Very classy yet cool looking car!
Yep - you're right. Looks like in the body shop yesterday!
Porsche needs to update their technology.
Thanks!
