My CGTS is on it. Marine Traffic website shows north of LA as the next stop, which is freaking me out since I am in San Diego. Any idea if it is possible that it will skip San Diego, then they'll truck those car from LA to SD?

My TYD finally updated a few min ago!! I'm on Siem Confucius and leave on December 24. My timeline did just grow from 31 days to 38 days with the update. Jacksonville 1/14 and in South Florida on 1/28, instead of 1/21.

Hey guys - looks like most people are in the 4-6mo range from deposit to delivery for their 992's, I went to my local dealership and they quoted me 8 mo - 1year from deposit for delivery of a GTS. Does this sound right? Why would it be so long...I have no inside track to an allocation so I am guessing it is that, but would love to hear everyone's thoughts on expected wait times.

Many thx

Hmm. I'm not sure I've heard of 4-6 months, that seems way too short. My projected delivery is 7 months after I got my allocation and it took me 4 months to get an allocation. 8-12 months seems about right to me.

My trick was calling around to a number of dealers in my area - until I found someone who had an allocation in hand and ready to go to production. In early November, I called five dealers closer to me - all had no allocations and “hoped” to get one soon and the car delivered in July/August. It was the sixth call to a dealer an hour away that thankfully surfaced an actual allocation and build date. From order to delivery (as scheduled right now) will be 4.5 months.

I believe the ship will go to San Diego after Oxanard as Porsche VPC is in San Diego. ETA 12/25 in Oxanard and 12/26 in San Diego.

Siem Aristotle has reached Halifax. Should get to Baltimore around Christmas - then another 7-10 days to the dealership.... New Year's present... getting close now!

Looks like they added a port stop in Veracruz and Santa Marta - My TYD also says 2/11

But according to sailing schedule CW 50 looks like gets into Benicia on 1/23/2022 and into San Diego 2 days earlier on 1/21 - My hope is it doesn't take 3 weeks from the port - based on others timings... maybe a week? So 2/1 into Fremont is what I'm hopefully planning for.

Cars are being turned around in Jacksonville in around three days.My first 992 arrived Jacksonville and took two weeks to get to Atlanta while another Rennlister’s car from south Florida got his car in four days after ship docks.
it’s just pure luck on availability of trucks and drivers. Once the ship docks you can forget TYD it is no longer valid.
