I took delivery of my 911 6 months ago and if I check the My Porsche, it still shows me in Stage 3. I guess the status never changes for some.
Mine just got updated today from stage 3 to stage 4 to "activate your car now" (1 day after dealer told me the car arrived at the dealership). In Canada, at least, I think the SA needs to hit a button somewhere for it to update.
Patiently awaiting my 911 delivery. On TYD, my 911 was on its way to Emden on 12/14. My next update the next day on TYD showed the car was at my dealership. Obviously to good to be true. TYD now is stuck in this stage. Anyone else experience this?
For those on the Crystal Ray she's leaving south Hampton -
I think TYD is useless at this point. Just use ship trackers and if you're really super bored check out port cameras.
Very cool to see a live picture of the ship! But also pointless.
TYD has actually added time to the expectations even though the shipping time is ahead of schedule by a few days.
Ended up cancelling PEC delivery on our '17 Targa 4S as it would have pushed delivery into fall back then. Going to wait it out this time.
Great build! My build locked recently for an AG Targa GTS with the Truffle/Chalk interior. I wish I can get those wheels though!
I’m also supposed to be doing PECATL delivery but was told yesterday (SA heard from PEC) that the backlog is now about 8 to 10 weeks and is likely going to get worse. Curious if that’s in line with what you (or others) have heard? I don’t know if I can wait 2 to 3 months longer.

Thanks - one the reasons I didn't want a GTS (no centerlock wheels, thank you). We toyed with the idea of going back to a Targa, but would have had to wait until summer or fall for an allocation. Although we love the looks of the Targa, there's nothing like having the top all the way down sometimes. So the delayed availability made choosing another cab even easier.
That's exactly what I was told a week or so ago - 8-10 week backup projected to worsen. I'm pretty sure all the dealers were told to warn all customers with PEC delivery scheduled. I assume they think at least few will drop it, thus shortening the wait. We decided to keep it, as any time in late April or May is fine with us. My SA told me they have to know before the end of production as they load them on the boats in reverse order of removal (Jacksonville for PEC). Or something like that.
