Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
I finally have some good news to report!
Been waiting to get some movement on my 992 Carrera T and today I just got the notification from Porsche that my car has started production and it's 3 days early!
Ok so maybe not a big deal but I think it's good news to report that the factory is ahead of schedule at least on my particular spec which is below if anyone is curious...
Curiously they did not adjust the estimated or scheduled completion date which right now says May 16th.
Anyone know like normally how long it takes once production starts? 10 days +/-?

yes, there’s a whole separate thread with folks trying to find the common denominator for some being delayed this way. I pushed + 30 on April 16 manufacturing complete day.

Track Day
Nerve racking ... my 2024 TTS has been sitting in Houston for a week now and now past the original dates suggested on the website. Any ideas on how long it may take to ship or insights on if there are port issues? I know, patience, it is worth it
Wait continues.... Turbo S has been sitting @ Benicia Port since 4/26 (Friday) Vessel 9318474. If there is any good news, it's raining here in BayArea and hope to take the delivery mid-next week.
Burning Brakes
Off to the races - definitely worth the wait picked her up this morning ‼️
Clear side markers added first job 🤣🤣🤣

Very beautiful car, congrats! Enjoy!
My car is due to finish production 5/21. I got this photo in the app and hoping the other photos show up. Right now it’s just this one. I have PPF so I think that accounts for the long time until production is officially complete. I have ED the beginning of July!

After reading about all the delays on here, is the following schedule that Porsche gave me for my C4S realistic, or should I expect the car next year? It seems too good to be true. I am ready to be disappointed, so if I do get it in early July and can have it for driving by early summer, I will be thrilled.

The delivered pictures are inconsistent - I am at the port, but only got the paint booth photo so far.

Ordered C2S at the end of March. Dealer was able to secure an earlier build slot (technically order had already locked, but still able to modify by contacting factory). Order confirmed 4/2, finished production 4/25 and now at Emden waiting for a ship. From schedules, hoping it’s the Supreme Ace which is now transiting back across the Atlantic. Does anyone know if NYC is serviced from Baltimore or Rhode Island? From what I’ve read, feel fortunate that my wait (so far) has been relatively short.
If schedule sticks, should have it in early June. Very much looking forward to first 911 — current driver is an M5 Competition.

My C2GTS just started production May 3 per the schedule my dealer gave me. Hoping it's all done next week on schedule as well so my ED dates are confirmed and I can book my flights!
