Thanks for that radar input. I thought so. My SA isn't as sharp as I'd like. Didn't worry about it as I'm thinking of placing the radar detector on the dash. The suction cup for the windshield works pretty well but on a hot day it could break suction and damage the wire.

Check out these Blendmount mounts that connect directly to your mirror shaft. They are high quality custom made mounts for a variety of popular radar detectors. They work great and don't attach to the window.

My first Porsche, a Dakar, came in last Friday. I really still can't believe it and can't wait to drive it (no plates out of state purchase)

@Marin Vizsla thanks for the suggestion on shipping. My car is still in Emden, and I was only aware of ships departing for US from PWL site. The cars on Lake Taupo just made me question how to identify other vessels outside of PWL. Thanks for sharing Nkyoro - unable to get any search results there but will persevere.

In any event will somewhat reverse engineer it by looking at arrivals to Jacksonville Port Authority, primarily filtered to Volkswagen, but one eye on NYK Group. Right ow it only goes out through 4/5, but will check as schedule continues to load.

For the Carrera T, I'd ditch the front suspension, sunroof, matrix headlights and 18-way seats. Can never go wrong with Guards Red.

Can anyone confirm if the ship Emden is currently berthed at port Emden, and (if so) when the ship will be departing?

Yes, Emden is currently docked in Emden. I don’t know its departure date but since it’s been there since 03/25, I assume it should be leaving soon. For future reference, you can go to Vessel Finder website, click Vessels, enter the ship name, hit search for its current location and other details. You can also search by ports as well. Good luck!

Siem Cicero moored at Davisville early this morning. How long does it take for the 09 notice to be emailed or appear on TYD?

"Your Porsche is at the local entry port being readied for its final journey"

I know that my car is on that boat, but am (impatiently) waiting for the notice.

Anyone else on the Cicero?

Save $2,000 by skipping the "LED-Matrix Design Headlights PDLS+" and opt for just "PDLS+".

LED-Matrix not approved for US and will not be active.

The Siem Cicero just docked at Port Davisville. Looks like our cars made it across the ocean.

Ok - come on, now let’s get off this boat :-)

Who’s unloading with me today?

My carmine Carrera is your car's boat buddy. I didn't get any notification yet of it making port (see my earlier post above)

Any idea when we'll get notification? maybe after the cars are off-loaded?
