Looking at a gunmetal color coating on the centerlocks. I think that is something I will do, including 3/4 PPF.
I would love to see yours turn out. Please post photos!

No email from Porsche yet, but I did move to the next stage on the app!

So I had a layover in For Lauderdale on a trip back from South America to Ohio and grabbed a rental car to go get breakfast and decided it might be entertaining to stop by Champion Porsche and check out the inventory.
Got some footage of the cars they had in stock and figured I'd think out loud a little bit on my thoughts on financing my Carrera T when it comes in or pay cash for it.
Just a little entertainment while we continue to wait for our cars to show up...

My car is still at Davisville, yet I got an "activate your car to the app" email today. Anyone ever see that in advance of delivery?

I received the same when the car was at the dealer and undergoing pre-delivery prep. Not sure what the TYD showed at that point. But at least for me it indicated things happening at the dealer.

It took nearly 3 days to load and I believe this is a single stop so would assume a couple of days at least.

It goes to Jacksonville next, and then it continues from there. It should be on its way tomorrow. Initial loading at Emden takes longer, but the "drop off" at each port is usually just one day.

They typically turn and burn within 12-24 hours. Ultimately it depends on how many longshoreman are readily available to unload a RoRo.

FYI, The Volkswagen Group has exclusive rights for the use of SIEM Aristotle and SIEM Confucius.

I expect my car is on SIEM Confucius. Getting excited as the journey is close to done. Even if unloading is quick, I assume some time before cars are loaded onto trucks (?) for the final trip to Chicagoland area.

I’m going into Chicago as well. What dealer are you working with?
