Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
My car arrived at the German port on Apr 22, and was supposed to have been loaded and leave on May 4 but haven't gotten any update since. Car is NJ bound and is a Cab 2GTS. Anybody know if there is a hold-up currently? Are others waiting for a ship too?
thanks

So my car was done on April 29, arrived at Emden on May 2, and is scheduled to leave on May 14. Only problem is that there's no boat scheduled to go to Davisville until May 21. Does anyone have a sense as to how likely it would be for one of the earlier ships to add a stop?

Since Supreme Ace is in port at Emden as of yesterday 5/5, does that mean that the 5/7/24 date on the VW schedule is the planned date of departure? Ether way I assume if the car gets on the Supreme Ace, then we should receive TYD update the day it departs or next day? My car arrived at Emden 5/2. Hoping it gets a ride this week to Baltimore.

I got the Pirellis unfortunately, but the car is built

Order Timeline
I graduated from the thread as well. Here is timeline for anyone who is interested.
- Mid-September 2023. Received an allocation for a Carrera 4 in the mid-west without ADM at MSRP. This did require some back and forth with the dealer at the time.
- Mid-October 2023: Freeze date
- November 20th, 2023: Production date. Mine did not move at all.
- January 18, 2024: European delivery in Stuttgart
- January 29,2024 Drop off in Stuttgart
- Late March 2023: Depart Emden on Siem Cicero
- April 11th, 2024: Siem Cicero unloads in Freeport
- May 4th, 2024: Pickup car at dealership

I only dropped my car 3 weeks ago...but it feels like it'll be ages before I see it again.
Mine finished Apr 16, arrived Emden on 17th, scheduled to leave May 7 I assume on the Supreme Ace headed to Baltimore. Hopefully it makes it on the boat!
To be fair the quoted devliery time was 8-12 weeks which was fully used. The Porsche TYD app considered my car delivered after the ED pickup and no updates were posted there. After about 5-66 weeks I contacted my SA and subsequently Porsche customer service via email asking for an ETA. My SA had no visibility. Porsche customer service responded after about two weeks that my car got loaded on the Siem Cicero. After that I tracked the car on my own.
I'm also in NJ and my car got to the port 4/19 and hasn't left yet. The Supreme Ace is currently moored at Emden and according to the week 18 schedule posted here earlier, it's going to Baltimore so I'm hoping my car will get on it. I assume cars for NJ are still going through Baltimore? That's how my current 911 came around the same time last year.
Next ships leaving for Baltimore (after the Supreme Ace) look to be Siem Cicero in about 10 days and the Siem Confucius towards the end of May.

Well, that is a first. I have never seen the headlights covered with protective plastic at the elevator photo. LED Matrix headlights?
