So far I only got the paint booth photo, waiting for the others to catch up. Today my car left for the port. Dealer arrival is supposed to be June 5th, but there is a lot of variability with the ship timelines and docking/berthing etc. My car would be coming into Rhode Island.
Just ordered a slicktop Agate Gray 992 S with manual shift and Carrera Classic rims. Where are you guys getting all the build and delivery information? My SA says July 17 delivery.
Did you download the Porsche app? You get it through there, the dealer will book your order against your Porsche ID and the app will track and provide (some) photos.
Thanks! This has been my dream car since I was a kid and pretty much loaded her up don't think I went too overboard though.
Premium. Sport w MT. Front Axle Lift. Sport Design Side Skirts. Bose. Exclusive design tail lights. Tach & Chrono in White. Race tex roof lining. Black interior with chalk stitching and the 14 way power sport seats. Think those are just about all the big ones.

You should receive an email from Porsche congratulating you and within it there will be a “Discover Track Your Dream” link.
Called dealer a couple days ago for Carrera S allocation. Today, received a call offering an allocation that just opened up. Placed order and shows delivery on Aug 23rd. And yes, she's a manual.
A little less than four months is pretty fast in my book! Apparently, the guy who had the spot wanted "paint to sample".

Congrats to you on that! You should make a little delivery video. I would love to see that
I ordered the 992 S to commemorate 50 years of Porsche ownership and driving. On May 4, 1974, I bought my first 911 - a 1973 911E. Still miss that one.....

dude this is the most awesome thing I’ve seen lately. Congratulations for this milestone. And the fact you stuck with Porsche all this time speaks volumes for the brand. They should do a commercial with you.
Anyone else just have a big jump/delay in expected delivery time?
I've had the pic of car practically finished (26th April) but the next stage (Your Porsche is now on its way to you) has been pushed from 7th May to 3rd June.
I figured I would join the party with my first Porsche. The dream was a Turbo but a Turbo doesn’t have a stick and the GT cars are unobtainium. Ordered 26 Feb, made on 23 April, currently waiting on a boat ride. Supposedly be here by the end of the month, I’m figuring mid-June.
Wait continues here. Unfortunately wheel was damaged in Jacksonville and needs to be replaced prior to releasing to dealer. Nothing but praise for my dealer who is doing all they can to obtain info and ensure the car is delivered as expected. Quite the journey though - allocation July 2023, first projected delivery Oct 2023, and here we are in May 2024 still waiting.
