congratulations. I am still hopelessly stuck here since April. Glad you made it.
Ugh, I'm more bummed for you than myself. Fingers crossed you wake up with a nice surprise from TYD tomorrow!
If I really missed Conductor I no longer care about what ship I catch since I won't be able to take delivery until mid August, at best. I'm getting married end of July and a small honeymoon after.
I bought tools for changing CL. I’m really skeptical that it’s as hard as some make it out to be, but I guess I’ll find out soon. I plan on taking a wheel off shortly after delivery just to see.
I should mention that my line of work includes startup and service of large industrial machinery, and while I specialize in programming and electrical, I do a fair amount of mechanical (and hydraulic) work as well (as needed), so my bar for what’s difficult is probably higher than average.
what tools did you buy and where? Suncoast has some CL tools under the wheels/tires section. Do you need a torque wrench?
Me personally I prefer the CL look, I don’t like the RS Spyder wheels.
In regards to manual vs PDK I’ve had both and prefer manual. The PDK is very precise and when you floor it the shifting points are precise, you also have the advantage to launch control the car. On the negative side even if you have it in Sport it shifts at 2-3k RPMs which to me is a major turn down, I’m too lazy to do the paddle shifting myself. With a MT transmission I feel more engaged and love to upshift at 5-6k and also downshifting gives me a hard on specially with the rev match feature….again my $0.02 do what your hearts tells you

Im a blessed man and so are you. Congratulations on your marriage. I’ve been married to the same beautiful woman for 35 years! Fug the car. 😀

Congrats!
I'm in a similar situation - I've got a 3 week vacation out of town starting at the end of July. I'm trying to tell myself that it's for the best, since by the time I got the PPF and similar initial prep done on a Conductor delivered car I'd be looking at doing a lot of the break in on the highway, which is far from ideal.

$322 on Amazon for all 3. I did buy the CL lube from suncoast separately.
Compact so it can easily fit in frunk.
You need to torque the nut to a specific value. That can be done with a torque wrench, or what I opted for, which is a digital torque measurement.
Awesome thanks….what NM or lbs/sqi you adjust the nut? Is it in the manual?
I’m doing a couple of upgrades myself (swap OEM plenum for IPD and put catless bypass pipes) and it’s easier to remove the rear wheels to work on the car, I live in FL and thankfully don’t need to put winter tires.
