Maybe he was right. I'm sorry about your MY23 sitting in Germany. I've always been a car guy and I know how anxious you get when expecting a new car. I'm sure it's going to be well worth the wait.
Some how I get lucky and make the SFL Conductor…but now it’s been sitting anchored just outside the port of Vlissingen for almost a full day. Hope it’s just in a line to get fuel? 😕
There are port schedules that need to be adhered to. Even if the boat left immediately, it would sit anchored outside the destination port until its scheduled arrival time.
It looks like the SFL Conductor is on the move now and scheduled to arrive in Baltimore 7/2. The schedule has it arriving 7/5 so I wouldn't be surprised it sits anchored outside Baltimore for a few days.
this bodes an interesting question for this group. We talk a lot about the wait for car is getting onto Boats, but I’m curious how long do car sit at Port once off the boat? My came off Cicero in Baltimore yesterday and don’t know if it’s days weeks or months until it gets on a truck to the dealer. Any general rules? Assume tyd is not accurate….
Obviously there can be a lot of curve ***** (logistics/delays at destination port, issue with the car itself either during transit or waiting for a part, EPA clearance for first batch of a MY, labor or truck shortage, etc.), but generally speaking, most cars are out of the destination port and onto a truck to the dealer within about a week. Another variable is whether you’re in a place with lots of dealers and trucks regularly going from the port to those dealers (like Southern California), or somewhere more remote where a dealer that is a few states away from the destination port.

it can go either way. My car got to Houston last Friday and was at the dealer in St Louis yesterday.
But I had a car 2 years ago sit in Houston for 3 weeks waiting on TPMS.
I think the first case is more typical, but not guaranteed.

Baltimore has their stuff together. I am in port and my car is headed to Warrington Pa
so I expect maybe a week at most
Anyone with details on west coast deliveries? My GTS is in limbo at Emden but curious what others experienced once on the boat?
TYD shows going through Panama Canal but I have a friend that got their 911 pre pandemic and it went from Houston to LA on a truck.
My GTS is on Cassiopeia Leader headed to San Diego. Just made it out of the English Channel.
I’m confused though, are you saying your GTS is stuck in Emden or that it’s going through the Panama Canal? Sounds like some source told you it’s still at Emden but TYD shows it going through the Panama Canal. If that’s right, you should be on a ship (maybe Glovis Sigma). You can do the F12 key trick on TYD to find out your ship name or ask your SA. If your car is going to LA, it would end up at the San Diego port. The only time a car would go to a port other than San Diego for LA delivery is maybe if you do PECLA.

My apologies for not writing clearer (no coffee yet).
TYD shows the shipping route going through the Panama Canal but my friend had his come into Houston and then a truck picked it up to get it to LA. His never went through the Panama Canal.
Mine will be coming to AZ and should be through San Diego but I was curious if mine could be routed like his. They had to go through AZ to get his to LA - no reason it couldn’t play out like that for mine especially if they have others going to CA on a truck.
Stopped by my dealer to see it in person…stunning - even with a dirty lens on my phone. Now I wait a week in PPF jail! For all those still waiting, it is soooo worth it!

Many congrats! My car is still stuck at the Houston port. Hopefully, I'll see some movement soon.
