I’m in Houston as well. Supposedly it’s a February build but sure to be delayed. I did not do any CXX so it must have gotten an early build date. Are you in the Lone star region PCA group? We should meet up sometime.

I nailed it when I predicted the most of the ADMs would be $200k to $250k.

Default MSRP

Some will not want to believe it but there are more than a few MSRP dealers with fair numbers for trade ins. You need a relationship but I got on the list before anyone knew what an ST was and was #1 which they honored. Car should be delivered late March.

I don't doubt there are "on paper" MSRP deals for an S/T. However dealerships are in the business of making money. the going rate right now is $200K plus. I am confident these aren't goingt o poeple that haven't spent well over that in bad trades, buying an undesirable car at MSRP when the market is 10% below etc etc. I know it makes people feel great and certainly many love to brag here about their MSRP deal but I think if people knew the complete scenario it isn't as simple and some dealer just being a good guy and giving up $200K in pure profit. Again so to be clear I don't doubt there are not MSRP deals on paper for this one transaction. I digress, probably should be moved to an "ADM on S/T thread"

I mean great to brag about MSRP but many should add the context like the guy above who has spent over $1 million dollars in 20+ years with a dealer. I mean yeah he got it for MSRP but with the current market there are no “good guy dealers” just walking from that easy profit.
I don't see anyone bragging about MSRP in here

I requested CXX items (not optimistic as several 918 guys in here said appointments were filling fast several weeks before I put my order in)

I'm not in a group, but happy to meet up when the cars arrive. Would be fun to see

Lol. Just to show you the difference in Europe… I have never bought any cars from the dealer that I’m getting the S/T from at MSRP. I told them about the car before anyone knew it was coming and put a deposit down. It’s the only one coming to Cyprus. They knew I was serious since I showed them the 22 Porsches (several GT cars) I had bought in the US. Since I put my name on the list for the S/T I have developed a great relationship with the dealer. But yes, the S/T is the first Porsche I’m buying from this Porsche dealership.

I got sick and tired of the games that needed to be played in the USA for special cars. Actually, even for a GT3, which is not a limited production car. Cars are just not that important to me to pay ADM and that’s become “normal” now in the US. People can do whatever they want and that’s fine. Once you spend some time abroad you realize how comical and draining this is. Materialism at its best. I’m done chasing the next best thing and have gotten off the merry go round. I will enjoy this S/T and drive it as much as I can!

I was skeptical for the fist part but in the end he makes a solid and logical argument.
Perhaps explains why some are getting MSRP without much difficulty.
It'd be great for people on this sub to watch it and share their views.

Being a fellow European born person, I can clearly say that the American public in general are an impulsive "gotta have it now" crowd that loves showing off/flexing in front of others and on social media. There isn't as much of that going on in most parts of Europe.

He is talking about the UK market but he's not far off that the same thing can happen in the US. Now sure how long it'll take but at some point things will cool off here in the US too.

All CXX requests are no longer being accepted on the US side. PCNA's CXX capacity has been reached all the way through October of next year.

Confirmed, this is correct. 11/24 CXX is full. PTS slots still available.
