I was asked my #/1948 preference for my speedster (didn’t get it as I requested all the usual suspects), so it has been possible prior to the ST.

SoCal dealer I know received 4 S/T allocations with all 4 being sold for 250k, 250k, 200k, 200k.
My source said Champion received 8, Beverly Hills received 6.

I would wager 3-4 of those were VIP cars

Champion is the #1 store in the US, they will always receive the most non VIP allocations. Beverly Hills is #2. If North Houston who is probably #6-10 top dealership in the USA got 3 then it makes sense #1 and #2 received 8/6.

I know they are #1 and #2 but they also have a lot of VIP clients and I would bet those numbers include VIP cars. It wouldn't make sense to me the #1 store in the country gets over 2x the allocations of the #5 store in the country but who knows

The #4 store received 4 cars so it makes sense to me if North Houston is #5 and received 3 and then it went up from there.

I find it hard to believe with the market price at &200k plus people are truly getting MSRP. I mean I hope they are but I would assume this “MSRP” deal comes with more than $200k already made by said MSRP customer or an absolute beating on trade ins over the years. I mean great to brag about MSRP but many should add the context like the guy above who has spent over $1 million dollars in 20+ years with a dealer. I mean yeah he got it for MSRP but with the current market there are no “good guy dealers” just walking from that easy profit.
