What is the money factor on the 1-year lease? 10%? Are 918 VIPs also on the lease requirement? Sounds like more of a money grab from Porsche from anxious Americans.

Watched the vids. Meh. Underwhelmed. They should have just tweaked the GT3 touring to make it better for the road and have it live up to the ‘touring’ name.

I’m starting to understand why journos are saying there’s ‘no comparison’. I guess it fools some people

I've said it once before, I've never heard of any journalist crap on any Porsche GT cars so of course they are going to love the ST and how it's the best thing since sliced bread. We'll get the same thing when the 992.2 GT3 gets released, and the 992.2 GT3RS gets released, etc, etc, etc. What they say about the car has ZERO effect on my "want" factor for any car, they are just paid puppets. Although, I do enjoy Chris Harris' videos when he's flogging GT cars on track....hopefully he'll get to flog the ST on track for some laps.

"It’s far and away the most visceral, most satisfying, most joyful motoring experience you can get from a road car right now."
"Porsche had a GT3 Touring on standby for me to try out back to back with the S/T, and by comparison the Touring felt near-lethargic, especially out of slower corners where real torque is many thousands of rpm away. It’s an incredible feat considering just how good the standard GT3 can be."

Regarding track reliability, add the following to my list. Got this message several times today in the 992 Turbo S:
Owners manual says "vehicle handling may change" and "adapt your driving style to the situation". What the hell does that mean when I'm driving on track?! Other than this error message though, the car is really fast and fun on track, quite a beast.

I’ve never leased a car before- with a one year lease does that mean you automatically have the option of buying the car at the end of the lease or does it have to go back to Porsche?
Like Soulsea said, if the lease costs $30k, isn’t this just a way to have another ADM? If the car costs $300k and the market value is $400k, couldn’t one just pre-pay all the lease payments ahead of time and sell it anyway or does the lease limit flippers/brokers…? I guess I don’t understand all the ramifications of this new sales program.
