I don't know anything about software, but will it ever be possible to get the S/Ts suspension copied over to a GT3 touring? Know of any tuners working on this?

My understanding is the limitation number (XXX/1963) is not the same as production number(VIN#). The 918 owners were allowed to have the same limitation number assigned from their 918 Spyder to their other limited GT cars , ie. 911R, Sport Classic, and ST (so far).

PTS, the GT3 in your avatar is Amethyst? if so that looks nothing like the configurator amethyst which looks almost maroon. Not trying to make it a crowded space but I also specced Amethyst for the ST allocation. It's a beautiful color but it can be somewhat polarizing, purple is not a neutral color. You either like it or you hate it, there is no in between. I like it and have had another purple - viola metallic on a GT2RS. Should have kept that one, it was an impressive car. A cool place to look at the history and color examples is a website www.rennbow.org. I'm all in on amethyst as I think my allocation is frozen. I don't know where you are located but it would be interesting to see two ST the same PTS color together.

I received a confirmation email a few days ago, logged into my Porsche, saw the build date (and PTS color), and just now I logged in and it says “order not found.” Thankfully, Porsche is much better at making cars than websites…

Well, I’m not sure how to answer that. All I know is I chose my number and it was confirmed by Porsche on my build. (Not heritage door number since I didn’t get that and not the VIN)

Yes my Touring is Amethyst, and I ordered the S/T in the same color. I'm in the Houston area. Yourself?

Hey I hope you're right (appears you are)! I sent in 2 diff numbers to my guy to see if I could snag them. One is the same # as the R and the other is my birthday, both numbers should have no significance to anyone else.

When did you put your order in? I'm still waiting.

FYI, I contacted Porsche Mexico (PCNA equivalent) and was told Mexico has not received ST allocations yet. Phew.
