We need to take a break from the ADM and economy posts.
Love your attitude. Cars are cars. There are way more important things in life. I'm a heart surgeon, and I've taken care of a lot of people who are car people. WE talk about cars, but they all tell me - they'd trade everything in if they knew it would let them live for another 10 years and be with their loved ones.
It's wrong what happened to you - but I really admire how you look to the bright side. SC is an amazing car. SC plus GT3 is an incredible setup. Good luck!
I met soulsea in person. great guy and funny as hell.
I used to care about cars...
as I got older... it's just a can with 4 wheels...
I have other hobbies keeping me busy...
so if cars show up I write a check
if cars don't show up, I have plenty other ways to burn them.

The owner of my dealership just told the manager that he is keeping the car for himself, so there goes my allocation. It’s a little disappointing because I thought it was a done deal, but I don't really get that fussed when things like this happen.
The silver lining in the whole thing is that the manager who is a good friend of mine and a man of integrity, knowing that he wasn’t able to keep his word to me, has freed me up to do what I wish with the Sport Classic. So I can sell it and use the money to pay the ADM on an ST or maybe I can find another dealer who’s willing to trade keys at msrp. I haven’t kept track of the SC market but I’m assuming it’s effectively a $200+ ADM for them.
Or, and this is also very possible, as I noted before I love my SC to bits and was always torn on whether I wanted to trade it for an ST or just keep it and add a 992.2 Touring when it comes out and be happier with owning an SC/GT3T combination rather than just the ST … so maybe this is the universe telling me to keep the SC.
I guess I’ll investigate to see if I can even find a dealer that still has an ST available who would take the SC for it … it might not even be an available option to me at this stage.
sorry to hear about this.
but you are good either way.

After you peel off all layers of conditioning about what you must have, must be, or must experience to be happy, you find that happiness (peace) has been resting underneath all along. Keep peeling off.

Taking that thought further, this is kind of depressing but liberating at the same time:
Does the heritage package require the lighter trim? I cannot seem to get the black window trim and heritage pack on the configurator
I had the same question since with the Heritage package there's a lot going on -- chrome trim and exhaust tips, gold lettering, white (ceramica) wheels. I'm thinking to ask about getting the black trim option on top of the Heritage package via CXX. Has anyone here done this? I'd personally like to see yellow calipers as an option...
