Still no details on this car yet huh? I've seen comments that it's going to be an "RS Touring"...that seems like an odd car to build

Some folks just need their amps to go to eleven.

It's the same clamshell as 992 GT3 Touring, but they added a Gurney flap on the trailing edge...

Right, thanks, looking up the 964 retractable spoiler it's rectangularly shaped, not clamshell. The spy pictures indicate otherwise, but seems logical for them not to do the clamshell shape on the the ST. The car not being about ultimate downforce, sacrifice performance for looks.

I think the clamshell spy shots are real. This car can go over 200 mph and it a tribute to a serious racing car - no reason for it to have less downforce than a base Carrera...

+ more cost efficient to not totally redesign it, though most/every ST customer would prefer to pay the cost of a better looking spoiler. How often do production wings/spoilers change from their spy shots?

i presume it is a wide body GT3 with no wing. Just like the 1972 911 ST.

I already love the GT3 Touring, but i am a sucker for the early ST cars....

I was assuming it would be wider than GT3 (RS width), but hard to know from spy shots.

My first impression is that it is same width as GT3 in rear, but maybe front axle is wider (the 1970ST had wide flares in front as well as rear).

Looks interesting so far, and seems like the final version, so should be released in not so much time.

Well some of the early 992 Sport Classic test mules didn't have the wide body of the Turbo, but the front loos wider. So we'll have to wait and see.

It appears that it is essentially a GT3T with the doors from the GT3RS and front fender reliefs to match. Not as wide as the RS in the front or rear.

Looks nice.
