FWIW, I never understood all of the "gloom and doom" Recession talk here.
Especially given that the definition is not two consecutive negative quarters of GDP.
In the U.S., a recession is officially defined by the NBER Committee.
We should get an early reading on Q2 GDP next week.
Atlanta GDPNow is currently showing growth at 2.4%

I could have sworn that I read page after page of the false narrative that "the economy is going into Recession, the stock market is collapsing, and ADM's will disappear" in THIS thread.
In fact, a simple search of the word "Recession" in this thread shows up 4,150 times over 166 pages.

The GT3RS was a "nice to have" while the GT4RS and Touring were "really want to have" cars because I provided my ranking of the cars that I wanted...1) GT4RS, 2) Touring, and 3) GT3RS. Unless they get enough allocations I probably won't get one. The GM did tell me that if I don't get a 992.1 GT3RS then I'll for sure get the 992.2 GT3RS so not a big deal. The GT4RS will be my primary track car as I loved tracking my GT4s.

People are going to tend to not advertise who their MSRP dealer is, because there's no sense in encouraging other people to contact that dealer and get on their lists, thus reducing your own chances of getting allocations. And if out-of-towners do contact those dealers by phone or email, the dealers may just tell them they can put them on their list, but the list is long (since those dealers give the allocations to their repeat customers).

A vanilla Carrera is still a two year wait at my dealership. Approximately no one is bailing on deals for financial reasons. I believe my SA said only 2 people all year across all product lines.

I'm still very busy with a variety of interests and remain "active" in my retirement, including racing MX.

Considering that they are building more GT3s and GT3RSs then vanilla Carreras that is not surprising but I hear more and more that the non-GT 911s are now selling for MSRP. Like I said before, inflation hurts the lower class the home and is a tax on all of us and I hope the Fed finishes the job on bringing inflation down to a more reasonable rate (hopefully with a soft landing).

Porsche produced 41,947 units of the 911 in 2022 and they delivered 40,410 units.
Does anyone really believe that Porsche is pumping out 21,000 GT products in a year?
I dont.
