After 460 pages, I've decided this RE: ADM: As a potential buyer, you just need to decide which is more important TO YOU.....do you want the car or do you NOT want to pay ADM? And, if you did get a (true MSRP allocation, without trade ins, or financing strings, etc etc etc) that's awesome and more power to you, but note that nobody cares as much as you do.....And the more times you bring it up.....the less appealing it is, IF it's even true.

Not a bad price for an unusual/custom manual Touring spec...I dig it.

By contrast, look at Ferrari. No ADMs but you are placed in a queue, and usually a very long one. You might get the car at MSRP but 2-3 years after you want it, which some can accept but many will not. Some would choose to pay over sticker to not have to wait 2-3 years, while some have the patience. The existence of ADMs in Porsche stores in the US allows some to skip the wait time if they're willing to pay. Many here waited for an MSRP GT3 and got it, but that takes a lot of patience that many car enthusiasts do not have...I don't like ADMs but understand why they exist.
Since it appears that you have an incoming car, you must have waited quite a long time. Would you mind sharing what, if any, mark up you're paying?

I have a list of Porsche 39 dealerships that I send a bulk email to when looking for a car, Westlake tends to be consistently high on ADMs for new customers. They asked the highest ADM I have heard of on a Dakar.

Amen, thank you.

Most important is that we enjoy the Experience of these amazing vehicles, we are blessed to have these vehicles in our lifetime, past and future will not be-able to say that.
Enjoy them, Drive them, Track them.
What we paid for it is not as important as what we get from owning it, is my personal opinion.

I’ve had my car since May 2022. Just haven’t updated my signature. MSRP.

Honestly, I find the whole thread kind of strange. If you want to buy an expensive fun car like this, study the current market prices a bit and make a forecast for the price direction. Then if decide you want the car, buy one at a fair market price and enjoy the car, don’t keep watching prices unless you don’t like the car and are considering selling. I'm still here in this thread mainly because of the discussion on peripheral topics.

Hot take. Those that have paid ADMs on these cars and choose to not focus on their values and instead drive them as intended, pay less than those who have MSRP cars sitting in their garage.

I refer to my Touring as a truck. It has all that room in the backseat. Good for Costco. Actually enroute shortly and will snap a pic.

Hope it was a short drive because, based on how hot it gets in the frunk of mine, I think I would have hard boiled eggs when getting home if I would stash my groceries in there.

1000% agree, enjoy them, I just picked up my 3RS on Thursday and I could care less what I paid for it or what its worth.
I'm going to enjoy many miles with this and ASAP.
I'll bet I have 5000+ miles on it before Nov (close of season for me).

There is something about a Porsche when you drive it and just enjoy the moment.

I use mine for the grocery store at least once a week. Definitely don’t want to be driving around for too long with refrigerated/frozen items up there
