A place to discuss all things ADM

My son picked up a new 2022 911 Carrera base at msrp yesterday. But every other dealer six months ago still wanted a $10,000 ADM.
on the GT3 I don’t think you will see many used ones selling for msrp ever. Even the 991 generation GT3’s are selling for well above their original msrp and always have. There are not that many GT3’s available to buy. I had two dealers tell me Porsche will not make any more GT3 models after 2023.

I like how often McLaren gets pulled into a discussion about GT cars. It’s either a compliment (that people are even comparing to these track/sports cars that Porsche makes) or a negative (McLaren thinks their comp is Ferrari). What I see is that Porsches and McLarens are the most common luxury/exotic brand on track days. Far more than any other brands. It’s says something about the owners and why its so talked about here and cross shopped.
For me, I’m not convinced on the Artura yet. I’m sure the LT version will be what people want as every LT McLaren has been fantastic (I’m biased to think my 675LT is the best).
As for ADMs, with chip shortages, it’s still enough supply of cars in general to overcome weakening demand due to economic forces… but at some point that balance will shift and as Civic Type Rs start to sit on dealer lots, you can see prices dropping with GT cars (maybe not to below MSRP but who knows). I know. I took it there. I put the Type R in a GT ADM conversation. I’m horrible.

Don't think you'll see ADMs on GT4 RS come down until they start building them. They're apparently building 7k, which is a lot....plus there will be a Spyder RS, plus the Sports Classic, plus the GT3 RS etc etc. These models aren't exactly direct substitutes for each other but many will only be able to choose one of these so there will be some cannibalization of demand. Not to mention the litany of models being released or that have just been released by other manufacturers...Artura, 296 GTB, Technica, upcoming R8 GT etc

PAG has been making it right (price-wise) for some customers whose order slipped into MY23 due to no fault of their own. Not the only manufacturer to do so.

Indeed, fairly large MSRP increase for same gen car across a MY considering no net new standard equipment is featured. Options are same price, in fact PPF went down a little bit.

Porsche is pulling in some of the Flip dollars. My buddy is an executive at Porsche and some were pushing for much more, but marketing teams pushed back. Many comments on this board have said the car is under priced, asked and you shall receive. Porsche does read this board it’s free research.
