that’s not how it works with flooring lines. Most of these non franchised dealers have interest only for 30-60 or 90 days and then they need to make curtailment payments on the principal and remaining interest to essentially pay the entire balance(including principal) over a period of a few months (3-6 months is common). You don’t just sit on the inventory and pay interest only indefinitely.
also, flooring finance companies routinely evaluate your inventory to make sure you aren’t upside down compared to what it’s worth and can demand that you pay down the outstanding balance on a short notice to bring in line with what was contractually agreed to. There will be pain in the car biz going into next year.

My son picked up a new 2022 911 Carrera base at msrp yesterday. But every other dealer six months ago still wanted a $10,000 ADM.
on the GT3 I don’t think you will see many used ones selling for msrp ever. Even the 991 generation GT3’s are selling for well above their original msrp and always have. There are not that many GT3’s available to buy. I had two dealers tell me Porsche will not make any more GT3 models after 2023.
there are enough guys that have the money who want that car and will pay $100,000 over msrp to be able to order the car they want. Used ones should sell in the $275,000 range as they are “used” and you don’t get to spec your own car.
also the msrp on all 911’s is almost surely going to get bumped up significantly for all the models due to inflation and because Porsche will be a public company. In need of higher sales and earnings every three months. Would not surprise me when Porsche decides to price 911’s closer to market value to bring the additional value to their own pocket rather than the pockets of the dealers.
you might have heard that gas powered cars are disappearing over the next ten years.the 993’s in three or four years could be electric and the 992 GT3’s May become hugely collectible. Which is why I and all of you would like to own one of these fantastic cars.
a nice dream to have a huge number of 992 GT3’s to select from at their original msrp or below.
But I know it will never happen in most of our lifetimes. There just are enough guys with enough wealth that will pay over msrp even for used GT3.
I hope I am wrong of course but not very likely unfortunately.
also silly to call dealers selling above msrp greedy but are you planning on selling your Porsche anytime soon for tens of thousands less than the current demand value? Does your business sell its products for a huge amount less than customers would pay?

If you're gonna pay ADM for a GT3 touring, why not try out an Artura. Understated looks, so you will fly under the radar compared to a winged aero variant. 5 year bumper to bumper warranty, I'm hearing 3 year free maintenance. And doors that go UP. The Artura will smoke a GT3 for the same ADM price. Go take a test drive and see for yourself!

Artura is 680 hp roughly 260k well specced. You will be well over 300k for a Touring.

Car & Driver said, "Sure it's quick, and immediately recognizable as an exotic - - - it has intake strakes and flying buttresses - - - but it doesnt necessarily feel, sound, or look fast. The engine susurrates, and gains revs, without ever erupting. The transmission delivers quick shifts, without ever snapping necks. And in profile, the Artura resembles a Ferrari F430 attempting to escape from the mouth of a Noble M400 that was swallowed by a Lexus SC430. - - - - an automotive turducken.
Intriguing? Yes. Exciting? Not really."

I've driven an Artura and just rode in one on track this week. It's very quick with a broad powerband and feels more composed on track than the 570s it replaces. My only criticism is that the V6 revs to 8500 but doesn't have the induction howl the flat plane V8 does. But the V6 is has a throatier tone in street driving. Definitely a more polished product that the 570s.
Many Mac dealers will have a demo Artura so it's worth checking out if you still haven't been able to land a GT3. But a used 720S in that price range might be the best play.
