I agree. Some of the best NEW car discounts I've seen come out of that area.
The worst new car discounts "on average" = California, Florida, Washington. The hotter sales markets for Porsche are usually the worst for deals. Captive high income markets and the dealers know it. That's the way it rolls!
great thread, stg! it certainly helped educate me regarding 911 builds, options, and the relative pricing market. i bought my first 911 after years of bmw's and i was ill-informed until i spent several hours consuming this awesome thread.
even though i bought my 911 more than a month ago, i still check this thread everyday!

911Enthusiast put his eyes on this car recently and took a pass. Very fine gent in providing me with condition (excellent) of the car and saving me a trip to Atlanta. What a great story working up from a tech and going into sales. You mean a sales guy that actually knows something about the cars he's selling??? A rare thing these days.
Thanks for the into, and hopefully some Rennlisters take advantage of having a great contact like yourself. We have some great Porsche contacts here throughout the US. Dealers get bad reps many times (which they bring on themselves), but we shouldn't forget about the select few great ones out there too.

Excellent communication from start to finish. He was true to his word on every aspect of the deal.
His support staff also deserves to be mentioned as they performed flawlessly. One final note, Beachwood can also deliver in their own enclosed trailer, with their own full time driver. For me that sealed the deal.
