Thanks! I am a MANUAL guy so this is the car for me . . . . but for the GT4 that fell into my lap last October, I would be keeping this car for quite some time. Hoping it will find a good home - I love "arrest me red" and almost ordered the GT4 in GR too.

Wife gave permission to purchase, so she picked the color! Jet Black Metallic because she says it is mean looking (I liked GR and Carmine Red). Interior is the Platinum combo with GR seat belts and the LWBs. Minimalist build with base radio, manual A/C, platinum wheels, and not much else. Just a black car with super cool seats that are hard to get in and out of . . . She is being built now with a scheduled early April delivery.

Nice car. I bet if driven back to back with a GT4, most people would pick the 911.

By the way, your car is very nice as well

Seems like the the 991's that are quite "not the norm" are what a lot of guys are looking for lately.

For example, no sunroof for some reason is desirable with a manual, but PDK buyers want a sunroof. Black is also the most plentiful color available too. More black than anything out there for sale.

That's a broad statement with no seat time I suspect. I've driven many modern 981s and 991s including the 991S and GT4 on a track. The 911 has turned into a prestige GT car. The GT4 is an awesome drivers and track car.

Both worthy cars for different reasons! No right/wrong answer. Why Porsche makes a variety of models.

We're 991 biased here obviously seeing this is the 991 board. There's only one "hot for sale" thread. This is where the hot cars come up!

It's been noted your car is for sale. Nice car!

We post them, buyers look, they choose. Not really a debate about why one is better than another. Guys have specific things they're looking for as buyers. It's their choice.

That's as far as my magic powers stretch.
