The "Porsche" will stay. The "Carrera" is one piece, so easy to replace and center.
Maybe consider just doing "911" under the Porsche.
Whatever makes you happy!

borisf,
Ok, as far as price. These guys price high as all LA dealers do. I think a fair price is low low $60's like you mentioned. I'd start at $60K and would not want to pay more than $62K or so like you mentioned. Mileage is great. I personally would want a set of eyes on it to judge the rest of the cars condition.
Just noticed a 2014 too which is great! Rhodium is a nice color too.

My plan is to negotiate the price via email. Assuming that we get to a handshake deal in writing, I'd do a brief layover in LA (where the car is) on my annual trip to Scottsdale, AZ for Spring Training in two weeks. That way I get to see/drive the car in person, get a PPI done, and sign the paperwork after I'm satisfied with all of that.
Thanks for the sanity check on the deal. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

I will start a new post with pictures. My 2009 C2S is for sale and I have two potential buyers to take it away.
Thanks again,

Long-time (thread) lurker, first-time poster (I think on this thread) with what I hope everyone would agree is a question that is very relevant to this thread and our ability to determine whether or not a particular deal is "hot" or not.
I see some dealers advertise "factory rep" (demo?) cars as part of their new inventory and other dealers list them in their pre-owned category. They're often discounted to some degree, already increasing their potential "hotness" (but not always). In either case, these cars usually have a few thousand miles with warranty punched a few months prior, with the balance of the original factory warranty remaining. Some claim "sure we can CPO it too" and others claim they can't (because it's still considered new). Why the inconsistency? Are they all still technically new cars (never titled), or are they pre-owned, or is the answer "it depends"? Some older threads indicated that "new" cars can still be CPO'd if it was already punched (less than 4 years on the warranty clock) even though it was never officially sold to anybody. But I don't know if that information is correct.
Regardless of "demo" status (driven by a factory rep or Porsche employee), can Porsche dealers choose to CPO any car they want that meets the program criteria? (And for a car that is considered new, can they sell the buyer a Porsche-backed "extended new car warranty" that is basically equivalent to the "Porsche Approved" CPO (with 6 years/100k mile coverage)? Or are the only extended warranty options for truly new cars only available from 3rd parties?
I hope this can be answered definitively (once and for all) by the experts here because I've already used the search function and many of the other threads contradicted themselves (or had misinformation?). It's also possible that the other threads were using incorrect terminology (or different terms interchangeably).
