Do a local PPI or fly out and see it for yourself (my preference). I wouldn't buy a used car sight unseen personally. Many guys rely on second hand inspections which is fine too.
This car with 11K and a CPO at $40K off is a good deal. Maybe you can shave off $3-4K off asking?

We post them, buyers look, they choose. Not really a debate about why one is better than another. Guys have specific things they're looking for as buyers. It's their choice.
That's as far as my magic powers stretch.
the question/issue isn't about the car being for sale or not, what buyers like, prefer, etc., but one car being "touted" over another, especially when it doesn't make a lot of sense to. in fairness, you don't just "post them" and i'm also pretty sure that there are a lot of great deals that don't get included in this thread when they should. if this is where folks come to look for 991s that are for sale and are priced cheaply, it could imply that those found in the Classified section don't fit the criteria. if anything, this thread shows me how mis-priced some cars are.
I love all 991s! All are different and awesome in their own way; heck, I love the base Carrera. I am particularly smitten if they are a MANUAL!!! PDK cars represent 93 out of 100 991s now sold in the USofA. So, although the PDK is amazing and "better" in almost every measurable way, manual cars hold a special place in my heart.
I liked this car and called them. They dont do any more discounts. they are firm with the price. If they give it to 78ish it could be mine
I believe these Sonic owned dealers are no haggle pricing. Seems to be a model some have gone too. They will voluntarily drop every 30 days or so until the car sells.
Too much consolidation in the car business and these HUGE auto groups owning dozens of dealerships. The independent dealers are getting the squeeze. What you get is less personalized service many times and no care attitudes.
