It’s definitely not a ‘safe’ color!

Porsche calls it “cognac metallic”.
I usually like earth tones, but not this one so much.

In the Porsche biz, the same "stay around" can include yellow and green yet the "resale red" theory seems to not work for Porsches. (I owned a Guards Red at one time).

This may be the color of one I've seen around town a couple years ago, which I thought looked very classy:

Not sure why the heck brown colors seems to be increasingly popular. They are very hard to get right.
Toyota has at least two hideous browns, not including the retro one.

Not sure about green. , In my experience Brewster, conda, moss, forest, not to mention Irish are hugely sought after.

I think historically browns are fairly popular in Europe. I've seen this Cognac on other Porsche models and the mahogany and they look fine. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Not everybody wants the same color. Lime gold draws darts but there a probably 10% of the crowd who really like it. They all drive the same, enjoy the ride. There's a ton of old Porsche's out there in earth tones.

at the current price i doubt this qualifies for HFS, but maybe potential for someone to get a GTS driver. this also popped up in this thread way back when this sold last time. any idea on what fair price for this would be?

At the very least you will have to factor in the cost of the spoiler as it is up when not moving.

Looks HFS to me. Killer deal if someone who doesn't want Sport Chron or PSM but an 991 S for under $50k

Agree this one is a very good deal if all is kosher.
