HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Burning Brakes
The one I saw here had manual, PCCB, deviated yellow stitching with cloth inserts, sunroof, sport exhaust, lane change assist and sport chrono. Would not budge at all on price. Gash on lower front bumper passenger side about 8" long. And kind of high miles considering the price. Lease return, or that's the story.

For me yes
But finding a manual sports chrono car with a slicktop is a real unicorn. IMO all were deal killers. Sunroofs leak and cause issues. Look up what SC does. If you dont drive in a spirited fashion it has no value but if you like to wring it out in the twisties you want it.

In manual 2012/mid year 2013 with sports chrono didn’t come with rev matching
August 2012 builds. So most 2013/and all 14+ manual with SC got rev matching when in sport+. I think it’s a worthwhile option. Even if you can heel toe. It’s still nice to have

Is the rev matching the biggest 'benefit' of having SC in a manual? Worth continuing the search of a SC manual car, or go after this 2014 slicktop stripper S I found?
In my opinion, the rev matching is the most prominent benefit on manual cars. You also get active motor mounts, but I'm not sure how much that impacts the driving experience and see it as another thing that can break.

I see it a nice plus but a slicktop stripper is probably better for long term values
if you don’t care about rev matching, active mounts(more wear points, screw it) and engine mapping(easily changed with a tune). Get the slicktop

Thats how I view it as I plan to keep this car for awhile. More things that can break. But, I’ve said I’ll keep my previous cars for the long term and they didn’t last longer than 2 years....😬

If you are driving a manual (I do) why would I want a computer doing rev matching for me (I don’t). Totally and utterly pointless and annoying function.
Learn to do it yourself (not that complicated) or go for a PDK. Each to their own, and there are no wrong answers, but ask the question and you will get opinions.

Your vanilla is my chocolate
I dont like rev matching or really the car doing anything with the throttle or brakes for me. It can be added via a switch for $150.
Sport Chrono provides for an awesome blip sound when downshifting. Something to consider if you are into sounds.
Well, Im going to pass on this 991.1 S I found. I think I was settling, because I know I'll keep wondering if I should have gotten a 991.1 GTS. And with no back seats in a GT3, the GTS is the only other 911 I would want. So will have to keep looking, but for a manual GTS now.

This is currently the lowest priced, certified, 991.1 C4S I've found and it's got a pretty good build sheet too.

If I wasn't being slightly more picky and trying to stay west of the MS for a road trip purchase, I'd be all over this one.
