I too was able to download software for my Mercedes and BMW as well, in addition to the Porsche software when I bought my unit earlier this year.

I think this is contrary to the experience of others so if you have any help or input on this I would appreciate it.
Which one did you bought? Not every ThinkDiag devices comes with all software free.

I bought the one that was available early on in this thread with the 20% off deal. I think I bought it around January. The box just says Thinkdiag and Thinkcar's email calls it a "Thinkdiag device with single software package". I think the single software means that I chose just Porsche and not all brands but I don't understand why I can't do the simple stuff with it as standard. I can do some coding but can't reset the stupid service reminder!

Link from Post 28? The poster defaulted it to the "Single software" version, you need to select the "all software", which I assume you didn't? Hopefully you can explain this to the seller, and they will give you a new activation code.

From what I've read elsewhere, this coding needs to be done with the stock seats installed prior to swapping in order to work correctly.

Quick update. I had some time to test this and unfortunately trying to change any of the settings in the airbag coding category resulted in a "write code failed" notification.

So I went with the backup plan and just disabled the relevant warning lights in the instrument cluster coding category.

Swapping seats next weekend so will see then if this at least prevents the warning light when I unplug everything.

Still hoping I can get the coding of the airbag, seat position sensors, etc working somehow, as this seems like the best way to disable the warning light with relative confidence that the rest of the system is still functional. Will probably try to borrow or buy a PIWIS eventually if I can't get it to work with ThinkDiag.

If you can’t figure it out with the thinkdiag you can rent a piwis for $99

I have a '15 911S and want to change my one touch turn signal to blink 5 times instead of 3. Under which menu options can I select that with a Thinkdiag?

Turn light one-touch set to 5x (instead of 3x)

System Selection -> Front-End Electronics

-> Information -> Exterior Lighting Parameter One Touch Flashing -> [Change to 5 from Initial of 3]

Nice! I'll have to try this, having the low pressure warning pop up while on track was annoying.

I have to say that for the price, the thinkdiag unit is a great investment. I just competed final part of my SC/Sport+ activation coding and it's all working great.

Here is the list of items I've been able to code.
1. Windows down/up with keyfob
2. Activate auto rain sensor
3. Change spoiler auto up speed
4. Change how far back seat goes for easy entry
5. Added Torque & G-force screens to MF
6. Programmed 991.2MF steering wheel
7. Added new set of console buttons - programmed PSE and Sports+
8. Activated SC using online activation code

Not sure how much value adding PSE, SC and Sports+ adds to a car but it's more than the cost of a thinkdiag.

I'm a little unclear on what works on the 991.1 vs 991.2

Clearly the GT3 doesn't work due to the 991.2 updated steering.

But it's unclear of comfort windows/rolldown with fob works, or illuminated dashboard?

Comfort windows works fine for me with a 991.2.
