Clearly the GT3 doesn't work due to the 991.2 updated steering.

But it's unclear of comfort windows/rolldown with fob works, or illuminated dashboard?
A friend has been unsuccessful getting GT3 steering to work on his 991.1 TTS as well. Just putting this out here in case anyone has specific instructions ...

The GT3 steering option just disables your PSP which disables any assist and gives you a more raw feeling. If you don't have PSP, you won't feel any difference.

I don’t think that’s true. My car didn’t have power steering plus and the GT3 software made the steering completely different, in a good way.

If I remember correctly, the TTS has a different steering rack than the regular Carrera and the GT3, so the ECU is different.

My car stopped chirping when I lock it. Changed siren, still no chirp. Researching the issue, read that chirps can be programmed on or off. Anybody know how to do that?

Here is the code:

Front-end Electronics: Coding value- General- Acoustic feedback for central locking (only permitted in North America)

My car was set to yes to make it chirp when locking.

@Ken718B hey thanks a lot. Went through the coding, and Thinkdiag already had the code set to yes. Accepted it anyway and still no chirping. I think a sensor in the rear hatch has gone bad or is misaligned as this happened after I finished changing the oil. Get solid door LED when I lock it for about 5 seconds before it starts to blink.

Thanks anyway for the info.

I thought it was odd that the code would have changed by itself. Good luck finding the issue!

So I recently installed new exhaust on my .2 GTS. And it seems as if the exhaust valves are reversed. On normal mode, they're open, and in sport/sport plus, they're closed. I've gone thru the coding options in the Think diag app, one in the ECM and one in Rear Electronics. Both either are "Yes" or "No" for exhaust flap operation. I didn't do both at the same time, but I did do one and the other separately. The ECM option just removed my console button functionality, but it functioned with the steering wheel selector. The "rear electronics" option just kept the valve closed at all times.

I assume OEM flap is normally open and this one is normally closed. (With no vac applied).

Is there a way to reverse the exhaust flap operation? I don't want it to close during high rpm, that defeats the purpose... Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Edited for context: this is a VR performance exhaust, it was a prototype and they supplied an aftermarket vacuum box for running the flaps. When I bought the exhaust they couldn't confirm the flap operation, theirs vs oem. I obviously don't want to use the aftermarket box, since this has oem functionality already there.

Android tablet just came in, but play store will not let me download? “This app won’t work for your device”. Any suggestions how to get around it?

You have to “side load” it directly from the think diag site. It doesn’t work from the android app store but you can install directly from think diag site

Another thing i will mention is, I first tried a cheapo 50 dollar Android tablet (like this one
Amazon Amazon
) which had BT connection issues, so I returned it. Instead I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 which worked flawlessly. So, i tried iPhone (fail) => iPad (fail) => chinese android 14 tablet (fail) => Samsung tablet (success)
