Has anyone coded the parking sensor to default to off? I start the car in my garage and it goes nuts every time.
Three thoughts:
1. There is a button on the overhead console to turn off the warning. However, you need to do that each time you are in the car.
2. You can change the setting for the volume level of the park assist warning. I know this changes the volume level. I have never tried setting it to 0.
Instrument Cluster: Sound parameter – Park assist – channel matching quiet = desired decibel level between 0 and 30 {Default: 18} [this sets the level if parkassist is set to low. There are other codes for the other two settings.]
3. I can never tried changing this coding but my understanding is changes the Parking Assist so that it now only activates after the Emergency Brake is released. You can see if any of the other settings can be used to disable it.
Park Assist: General coding data: P or EPB deactivates the parking aid= Pan, Epban {default: Pan, EPB off}
I got the multifunction wheel on today. Everything seems to be plug and play. However, the joker button is mapped to the vehicle menu in the instrument cluster. Does anyone know where the coding is to map this to skip audio track?

Nice plaid inserts, btw.
You should be able to change the joker button from within the settings in the MFD screen. Press in on the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel, and that should bring up the MFD screen menu (there's a menu for each screen). Do it on the gauge screen and there should be a Settings option, dig into that menu and you should find the wheel setting.
Well. so much for trusting the product description saying it's fully ios compatible. Thanks.
If you've read the messages in this thread you'd have seen there are issues with it on IOS, and that using just about any Android device will work fine.
No idea why they haven't dealt with the IOS problems, but if I had to guess it's because of Apple's greedy policies on in-app purchases. 30% and they don't do **** for support (or they just steal your app idea outright).

Thanks!! I got it figured out from @Ken718B 's post a few pages back. In now have a fully functioning multifunction wheel! Would still be cool to have the menu in the instrument cluster, but I can’t complain. Thanks everyone!

Does the right scroll wheel not work? Does pressing it in not get you the menu options? Otherwise how do you change what's shown on the MFD?
I only vaguely recall how the older style wheels handled the MFD screen. Didn't they have a second stalk below the wiper stalk that controlled the MFD?

yes, stalk and wheel work. Just no joker button assign menu. But it seems easy enough to change that with thinkdiag.

Strange! While @joserpaq and I could change the joker code with our thinkdiag, it did not change the function of the joker button. Do you have memory seats? I assume the issue with coding the joker button has something to do with the way that the memory system works.
Did you change the joker menu code that I posted in post 525? That should enable the joker menu in the MFD.
Is there a known setting for the volume of SMS/E-mail alerts from a phone connected via Bluetooth? The ding-ding it makes it ear-piercingly annoying. I'd love to dial back it's volume level a bit.
