Do you have memory seats? Can you still change the code with your thinkdiag even after enabling the menu?

Can you set the joker button to sport plus? Does it do anything when you press the joker button? What is the setting of the code for Coding value: Equipment Sport Chrono Package” in front end electronics that Jim981cs981 mentioned?

I would appreciate it someone could please check this for me? I had someone else check their launch x431 and they also have no special function section under the PCM so it isn't just a thinkdiag issue. The question is does the thinkdiag have a special function section under the PCM for any other Porsche models? If so, is there a function activation section and what functions can be activated?

I lowered the quiet setting to 0 db and changed the park asset volume level to low and it worked as expected. The park assist pops up on the PCM but no audible warning. I am going to keep it.

No memory seats for me. Maybe that’s why. I haven’t taken the time to see if I can change the code after enabling the menu, but all of your posts worked fine for me. Thanks! Maybe enabling the menu last is the trick.

I don’t have sport plus in my GT3, but maybe the PDK sport button could be mapped. “Equipment Sport Chrono Package” value is “no”. What does this function do?

Curious if anyone has figured out if there is a way to enable auto rev match on comfort drive settings for a 991.2?

@jim981cs pointed out the code Equipment Sport Chrono Package”. We don't know what this code does.

@joserpaq tried remapping the console buttons to sport plus and it did not work. The console buttons are in the air conditioning module if you want to give it a try.

@slowrey my dealer is hooking me up with a new chrono gauge this weekend (the needles broke), I’ll try to change the illumination after it’s in and report back. Maybe a new unit will work.

I successfully coded a 991.1 TT with GT3RS (only option that stuck). Feels great, lighter at slow speeds and much more stable on highway and track. 10 / 10

Thanks. The GT3 wasn't sticking.

Search for the Modifying 991.1 steering software thread. Instructions for piwis and thinkdiag are in it.

Just did the GT3 steering to my 2014 C2S with power steering plus. Made a huge difference! No error light in my car.

Man, is the wheel heavy while stopped and around the parking lot. But those turns... insane. Everyone should try it!

My 2015 Turbo S will not write code for GT3 nor GT3 RS electric steering. Must be something particular to the model/trim.

@Ken718B Ken, did you ever figure out how to shorten the amount of time the sockets stay on? You looked into it in post 298 or so, but I could not find if you ever got the sockets to turn off sooner.

Thanks.

No. I never figured out how to change it. However, on my 718, when I timed it, the light on my carlinkit went off after 5 minutes or so.
