Check out this post and my post 978 below it. This guy explains how to access the function that seems to show the various options on the car. Not sure what it can do yet.

I did the coding for EBD and took a video of it, except the brakes did not flash. I thought it was supposed to flash every time you braked. Does it only work when you panic brake or did I code something wrong?

My coding:
deceleration on - .45
deceleration off - .35
speed on - 3
run on time - 1
emergency brake display - Yes

A little update on the sport chrono illumination. My dealer just put a new SC unit in the car. I’m still unable to change the code, but at least the new one is set to 106. The last one was 60.

This summary was really helpful to me. Hopefully, others also. Slight bit of conversion to Thinkdiag, but pretty simple.

They were written for a 718 but my understanding is that many of them work on a 991. The ones that don't work that I am aware of:

1. Top up and down with key fob
2. One touch Top down with control switch
3. Activate 4-point LEDs with Headlights On (not a 991 issue, this does not appear to work with PDLS Plus)

Just to summarize again the issue with the top going up and down with the key fob. It is possible since 991s outside the US and Canada have this feature. However, 991s in the US and Canada have the fourth button disabled. A user named @yobiwan was able to get his top to go up and down on his 911 with an x431.

Here is his video showing it working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pamf...ature=emb_logo

Here is what he said regarding the modifications to his key fob:

1. He said that when you open the key fob, you can immediately see what you need to do.

There's a hole blocked by plastic that needs to be drilled out.

2. You also need to purchase the following silicon button (model E) - which is the parts for a Boxster

https://he.aliexpress.com/item/10050...yAdapt=glo2isr

However, when 991 owners try to use the same coding for the 718 they get errors when trying to change some of the codes. I believe there is an additional code or codes that need to be changed. I spoke to yobiwan and he does not remember what coding he used. He was active on the 718 forums asking about the coding so it is likely he figured out what additional codes were needed.

Another user named @joserpaq as well as others have tried to identify the missing codes. Joserpaq ultimately gave up and ordered a smart top which adds the same functions and more.

@wkearney99 has reached out to 991 owners outside the US and Canada to see if they can assist in determining the missing coding.

if anyone wants to try searching the missing code or codes may relate to activating the fourth button.

Does anyone know what code in the 991 causes the windows to go all of the way down when the top starts to go down? On my 718, the windows only go down a couple inches when the top starts to go down. That is the key to getting my windows to stay down. I just can't figure out how to accomplish that. I would appreciate it if someone could take a look.

Were you able to enter the text? Locus_red on the 718 forum got this to work. They said the entry had to be ten characters. They entered some trailing spaces after the text to make it ten characters.
