991 pricing is out of control right now

Thanks Briz. Nice spec! you dont have to spend too much time on Rennlist to realize that the 991.1S is in high-demand. This car will age well. I have a similar spec on a 991.2 MT including Sport Exhaust (love it!) and Premium Plus, but the following options 18 WAY SPORT SEATS and Burmester Audio are super-premium and rare (I have the more common 14-way and the BOSE).
I was amazed it didn’t go for more compared to what I’m seeing being listed at retail and on other sites.

Its interesting because The guy I’m buying the C2S from had his listed for 6 months and did not get too serious of offers. Kept getting 48k to 52k dollar offers on a ‘14 with 70k miles on it. Definitely seemed low.

Sounds like a great spec! What would you replace it with? I had a very tempting offer several months ago but after really thinking about it and looking for alternatives, there just was nothing else that I wanted. So I decided not to sell and haven't regretted it once....yet...lol

992 being very expensive, massive wealth increase in 2021, along with general low supply will likely create a pretty high floor.
Initially I thought we'd see some additional depreciation on the 991.2 TTS once the 992 hits the ground -- yeah, don't think so anymore. I don't think you will see a .2 TTS under warranty with reasonable mileage (<40k) under $100k even after .2 TTS is readily available (which may not happen anyway).

Trade-in $88K; Private $90K. I would have thought it would be closer in price to the 2017 991.2 w/ a few less miles, same MSRP?

I just got offered 80k on trade with a Porsche dealership on a very well optioned 2019 Carrera T when less well spec'd cars are going for 98 - 100k.
If I took the trade it would be on the lot the next day at 105k

it was pretty base and that’s what I was looking for. Wanted simplicity.
