I found my P-car using this, as the dealer hadn't yet put it on Autotrader. 2018 991.2 S (19k miles) with sport package + RAS, CPO, one owner, Agate with RS Spyder wheels. I jumped on it asap, paid $103k. Seemed like a fair price given CPO and one owner.
Good tip and just to add....I frequented this resource daily during my search. If you see a car of interest make sure to go directly to the dealer site as there were times I found the car was gone before the Porsche pre-owned locator had updated.

As an example there’s a .2 S still up that sold months and months ago.

Who's Bob? I'm Bemo!
Bob is the ol' cranky Floridian. I'm young and live in CT.

Here are couple of photos of my "Rumble Bee."

If you are referring Bob Z. is an "old" cranky Floridian stop by if you ever make it out of the cold/depressing northeast and you can see how old I am over for a mini-Ironman contest, and I will give you a head start since I am an old 57. Nice Yellow car though but PCCBs would look a lot better, as I had installed on my Miami Blue Targa GTS.

^classic! Bob don't sell your targa or it would be a huge loss to 991 sub. I'm serious.

Run for the hills when you see me, if you can find any.
I'll bring RedBull and an ambulance since you're likely to need both at some point.
The car is all right, no customizations! Prefer to keep it stock.

I had 3 close calls. Just like @CAA 2 of them got sold out from under me as I went back and forth with dealer getting info all while questioning the what I thought was an unrealistic asking price. Boom they disappeared within a couple of days of being listed. Then I thought I found one but it just didn’t check out right. What I learned was that whether I agree with the price is irrelevant. If I find the right car, don’t wast time. But that doesn’t mean don’t be careful. Do your due diligence. If buying remotely, get an independent PPI. DONT trust that a dealer sold CPO means that you’re getting a properly prepared vehicle.

I'll probably change the mind the next time the cover comes off and I take it for a drive. And I agree, I would miss a lot of people here, even Bemo!

Ha! We need to have a FL get together one day, maybe in a central local such as Orlando.

These recent posts in the past day or so with folks searching long and hard for 991.2 manuals make me feel like I hit my own little jackpot with my car; and I didn't have to look hard at all. 2017 Carmine Red C2S 7MT, 8500 miles, about as perfect a spec as you can get in an S and I had already decided long ago my next P car would be Carmine Red- only thing I would have spec'd in addition to what it has is Porsche Entry and Drive. Even the painted interior has grown on me.

https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AB2A97HS124645/

Paid $103k back in October, found it on finder.porsche.com at a dealer less than 2 hours from here while searching on a whim (it helps that there are literally dozens of Porsche dealers here in a 200-ish mile radius to the DC Metro area). Went through some drama with trading in my semi-high mileage 981 Boxster GTS despite not really being in the market to do so (really wish I could have held onto it), but ultimately decided to just do it as the mid-atlantic really isn't an ideal location for a convertible, and this car was pretty much EXACTLY what I was looking for. I felt the price was fair back then, and still seems to hold up.

I've put nearly 1000 miles on it already despite the not-so-great weather and it gets better each time I drive it.

Anyone on the fence, if you find a car you like, just get it. Regrets be damned; although you probably won't have any.

edit- what's with the hate on the sunroof? Personally it was a must-have for me, especially coming from a convertible...

Inventory in CA has been scarce between the lockdowns and stop-sale. Lots of people looking but nothing to buy. Hopefully this software fix comes out soon and dealers can start selling their 991.1s again.

Here is a good example of how stupid pricing has gotten.

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2...gts-cabriolet/

what would this car go for now only 6 months later?

Loaded up GTS with 9k miles?

81k for a GTS with low miles seems pretty OK given what I have been seeing. It is 50% off MSRP
