991 pricing is out of control right now

Yeah, leaning that way for now. Waiting for some service records on it that won't be able to get till Monday but it's a one owner car and the type you want, has 40k service already done etc. Don't think I could pull off the red interior on the 991.2S but sure love the color of the car.

Just drove a 992 and it sold me on what car I want!
not a 992
But even more so, not a turbo car. I loved the shove from the torque but did not like the power delivery. I want that NA build of power and even more so the SOUND.
The 992 4S I drive had PSE and it sounds good at idle and around 6k rpm but then it sounds too muffled and bland to me (again MY opinion, don’t freak out 991.2 owners). Also PDK is badass but too easy. I could own one but would rather have a manual if possible.
I’m going to finalize the deal on that 991.1 GTS

Our cars are effectively "priceless" because you can't find them to replace them. I dread it getting totaled and not being able to find a replacement--which is silly because normally it's some exotic car you'd think that would apply to.

I had a two dealers offer me $135k for my Targa GTS with the 7MT - how much would they mark it up for resale? Not many out there for sure but is the demand as strong as some suggest?

I remember you from waaay back when I first showed up, I recall we have similar spec cars. I love the GTS black with strong colors--mine being Lava.

Message me if you wish to compare specs. If memory serves me correctly, your build was around $150k, ours just over $145.

I’ve been pseudo searching for a 991.1 Targa for a few months now and the handful of cars I’m looking at have all been sitting because the dealers are asking 10% too much for them, IMO. They are all 2015, PDK cars similarly spec’d to high $130 MSRPs with 30-60k miles and priced from mid $80 for the higher mileage to near $100 for the lower mileage.

What year, mileage, options/MSRP? Given the dealer offers I imagine it’s a low-mileage 991.2 that was very well optioned?

The lava (orange) is loud, looks sharp, and reminds me of the Limerock e92 M3 - possibly the most desirable color. My M3 is the more understated Jerez Black (midnight blue), and I’m good with GT silver on my 991. More related to personality than anything else.
