Stop Sale Campaign on 911 with Sport Chrono?
#226
as a side note -
Very possible that SC Launch Control is part of the problem - wonder if a potential software fix will make the cars slower??

I love the words "out of an abundance of caution". Those words usually come up in a press release when the sh*t has really hit the fan and you have been caught red handed and are being forced to do something. Those words go along with "The check is in the mail", "I love you", and one more that comes to mind but it is inappropriate for a family forum, among the world's biggest lies.

Ha! You know there may be something to that....what causes the popping and cracking?

Dumping extra fuel into the cylinder for no reason other than to create popping and crackling.
This goofiness is associated with PSE, though, not Sport Chrono. You'll actually get less popping and crackling in Sport+ mode, or at least that's my own experience (981S).
So if that were the problem, PSE cars would be under scrutiny, not SC cars.
