Here is an unregistered "Factory Demo" '18 T being advertised at $25K discount from the $129K MSRP

Wish they would be honest and just list it as an "Auto" rather than "7 speed manual"...was one of the most annoying things when I was looking for my T.

Perhaps this is because the build sheets list PDK's as 7-Speed and some salespeople (or whoever does the web uploads) are careless or clueless ..

IMO I think its done like this on purpose to get you to click on the car and gain your interest-possibly getting you to switch over. I guess it works for some but feels like clickbait to me.

Is that a realistic number or if I were to move forward, am I better off selling privately. My car is in great shape (PPF over 80%, 8900 miles, 2 sets of wheels & tires, decent options but not crazy). It seems like supply and demand favors the seller right now. Just wondering, for those of you that have recently purchased, where are you from a numbers perspective?
What color is yours? T interior? 7 speed MANUAL? Full leather? Totally clean Carfax? Original owner? Sunroof? All original paint? Service is current and not due for 6 months or more? If the answer to all the Yes/No questions is Yes, and it's a "classic" Porsche color (except PT$), I'm going with low to mid $90K range for a realistic PP sale. At $80K trade-in, the dealer is looking at $1-2K for service, prep, detail minimum. $3K for CPO if it doesn't need tires ($1300+ all in even at dealer pricing if it does). That brings it to somewhere around $85-88K, before he starts marketing it. Then add 10-12% margin (to start) and asking price becomes $95K to $99K at the lowest. In some hot markets, maybe even more.

Answers to my questions above will guide you to a realistic PP sale price somewhere in the range I state IM(very)HO!!! Good luck, and keep us posted.

A no sunroof, manual, bucket, RAS car will be $100-$105 at a dealer if its Silver or white at CPO. I agree. mid-90s for a well specification car.

They're starting to creep up in price. There's 15 for sale in the US. 33 GT3's, and 992's aren't really as desirable as people anticipated, especially with GTS/GT3 launching in the next few weeks/months.

PP with porsche tends to be about 5% less. not a huge difference. CPO doesn't add much when you're still within the original warranty.

Thanks for the (very)HO. Mine is silver, T interior, 7 speed MANUAL, totally clean Carfax, I'm the 2nd owner, no sunroof, all original paint plus PPF covering almost everything (not the roof), slated for Service next month. So, low-mid 90's is a nice number for PP.

I'm not ready to post it but the right price would push me to go GT3 or 992S. I have a deposit in on a 992 GT3 but I'm third on my dealer's list and not sure I'll get one (They got 4 allocations of the 991.2 so there's a chance).

don't let the dealer tell you you won't get one. the GT3's weren't limited. only early days. they built ~ 4,000 GT3's for NA. and ~1,000 T's for 991.2. 992 WILL NOT be limited. not in this economy. this is what porsche said for 718 GT4's too and look... you can walk into basically any dealer in the country and get one at MSRP or less. Porsche sells Taycans and Macans now. they want to sell as many sports cars as they can.

if they are saying you may not get one on a list of 3, go elsewhere.

I agree with low to mid 90s for private party. Not a fan off the 992 base or s but the 992 gt3 looks awesome! I hope they give a 6 speed manual option.

I get it but the one caveat that influences the argument is that I'm in a VERY SMALL MARKET. My dealer doesn't sell many 911's to begin with. Cayennes, Macans, and Panameras are the only Porsches that tend to flow through this dealership. Could I go to a bigger market? Sure, but the convenience factor for staying local is nice given that the closest "big market" is 5 hours away.

I’ve got a favor to ask:

Can somebody take and post a few pictures of the T rear seat and the interior panels on either side?

I’ve begun the process to undelete my rear seat delete and want to make sure I’ve got the right parts picked out.

Thanks in advance!

I think you could get about $92k for it right now, with the market the way it's going. I would list on PCA and the usual websites - looking around on those sites has shown that the T's are almost all listed at $90k or above.

Good luck.
Same boat as above - 2019 manual T with buckets and 7,2k miles, was offered 80k on trade. If I list on PCA and BAT, how does it work since the car is financed through Porsche Finance...

Use CarGurus. They will pay off the lien, issue the title to buyer, and pay you the difference. It costs $150.
