Interesting. It also doesn't help that the transmitter is in the front bumper. I back my car in and when I leave, I sometimes have to hit the button a couple of times.

When our new home was built in 2014 the garage door installer told me to not use LED bulbs because they can potentially cause problems with Homelink.

Another wrinkle on the "will they/won't they put a NA engine in a 992 Carrera?" Let alone should they even decide to build a T this go around...

New to the club and to Porsche. Just acquired this absolute beauty, manual, Carbon fibre bucket seats, absolutely in love. Just been reading through on the forums how to clean a car like this properly. I guess I need to stop going to the drive thru!

There will be an NA 992, the 3. If it's hybrid dudes will blow their lid and never stop talking about 991.2 value. Porsche seems pretty resolved and concise that the non Motorsport 4.0 is not going in a Carrera. I bet they do a T on the new car because that's now part of the offerings matrix, but I can't see it having an NA engine. Not as long as they offer NA GT3's. I'm sure the new 4.0 could and will find its way into a number of future cars, but I doubt they will be 992's.

Congrats! They look damn good in yellow and I'm not even a yellow car person. Enjoy it!

Love it! Congratulations on a beautiful T! I was shopping for Racing Yellow but ended up with Guards Red.

Rumor is no T for the 992. 991.2 was it.

No way! Source? Why would Porsche leave that out of the offerings? The 718 T, yes. Don't think I've EVER seen one, right?

I hope they forego the 992T as a 991.2T owner.

I also thought the 718 T was EU only?

I cant say there is a “reliable source” just rumors...
At car week in Monterey there was buzz around: 'porsche execs stating there may NOT be a 992 Carrera T' - this was on the heels of car week in Monterey.

Conflicts with previous reports of porsche execs saying yes to a 992 Carrera T.

I’m starting to see properly spec’d pre-owned T’s selling for close to MSRP now...only 911 made for the US and only so many are manual, no sunroof, buckets, etc

There was also buzz around the 4.0 making it into the Carrera T - pretty clear now that is not happening via the article posted above.

I dont have a crystal ball but Im betting the 991 T is it. Happy to be wrong :-)

As stated They only made 911 of them for the US in '18-'19. They were not widely promoted and many dealers loaded them up with the wrong options (PDK, Sunroof) so who knows what the future holds. My dealer got 2 allocations both '19's.

This was posted elsewhere, but the 13' mark remarks are interesting. Say what you will about the guy, but this stuff is his business and he's got a lot of ins.

I've also posted earlier on the different comments on a 992 T from Porsche "officials". I'm still in the time will tell camp. But if the other rumors are true, the lack of an MT in a 992 will most definitely impact how ours are viewed. Conversely, if they exclusively outfit a T with an MT in the model line (in the keeping it real and inline with the ethos), we all know what that will do for those cars and their being fawned over as well. All conjecture on my part at this point and we'll see! Going to be fun finding out.

I like Farah's reviews and honestly his "One Take" of the 911T, driven along with Spike Feresten, was influential in my decision to get the T. If you listen to the latest Spike's Car Radio podcast, Farah is there and he makes some comments on how the T might be one of cars to hang onto, not many made, etc. At least it's good to hear his opinion that the T is a unique version.
