Do you have to sell through cargurus to use this services?

Relevant to the recent discussion, this sold today: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/d...1-carrera-t-1/

The fees tacked on to the sale work out to $94k from the seller (5%). So the mid-90's we've been talking about are right on the money.

Sheesh, my bad, I missed the RNM. I would still see the ~94k as good indication of where the market is right now, however.

Agreed. That would have been 80% of MSRP for a car with 11K miles and 15 months factory warranty remaining. Strong money.

Looked like the bidders weren’t quite sure they wanted to buy; tiptoed up to $90K, but no one wanted to touch it, out of fear they might end up buying the car.

I am getting ready to list my 2018 T for sale and I appreciate the feedback on prices here.
Mine is GT Silver, buckets, Red stitched T interior (also have the T style seat cushions), Rear Axle Steering.
PPF on entire front, rocker panels, and the rear fender areas needed. The car is ceramic coated as well.
I have the optional 5 spoke wheels (I think they are called Carrera Classic) which I love on this car.
I also have a set of the Carrera S wheels that would be sold separately unless the buyer wanted both sets. (They have winter tires on them but I will likely keep the tires to put on the car I am getting).
I have Fabspeed Sport cats and a cobb tune as well.
And I did an OEM Porsche brake upgrade to Carrera S/GTS brakes in red.
Car has about 5,900 miles.
I was thinking of listing it for $98k based on options and what other cars for sale on cars.com and the like are listed for.

I really love this car and hope I don't regret selling it. I am getting a GT3 Touring but its obviously a big price jump. I hope I find it is a worthwhile choice.

Default Nice review

Nice review of T
guy also speaks about prices, 30% price drop for standard carrera compared to less than 15% compared to similar T, might be true.

That sounds right, a month ago I paid 98K for a 6K mile white manual with standard seats and sunroof. It had exactly the red trim and Sport Tex interior I like and LEDs and that's pretty much it. I bought it a couple of days after it went on market as a consignment at an enthusiast car place. I was the second guy who showed up to buy it at that price, the first decided to get a GT3 instead.

For me the point wasn't whether I could find another one for a few thousand less, which I could have, it was that it was the right spec at a price that made sense to me. I'm sure the seller got over 90 from the sale, but he had to take the risk that it would sit around, keep it insured and so on.

For me, it cost me $900 to ship the car 1000 miles in an enclosed trailer, and a week after seeing the car online it was sitting in my driveway. That's less than it would have cost me to fly, pick up and drive it back, even if I wanted to hassle with that.

GT3 Nut, that sounds like a fair price especially with all of the extras. I would preemptively get a PPI done at a Porsche dealer ($300ish well spent).

I think your handle says it all, go for the GT3T if you can swing it. Right now, that’s the only car I would trade up for as well. Just don’t want to commit the extra cash right now - though if a GT3T in PTS Irish Green or Oslo Blue came up I might consider selling a kidney.

Good Luck!

went to vegas yesteday for work for the day and rented a 992. what a disappointment. made the T feel like a GT3 RS when i got back into it at the airport.

when i bought my car i had a 992 base on order and then canceled and got the T. definitely the right move. the 992 feels enormous and i couldn't live with the interior every day. feels incredibly cheap and won't age well. feels more GT than sporty.

definitely reinforced my happiness with my car.

I feel the same way. With that said I wish there was more of the 911 T trim in the GT3T. (If that makes sense)

I really love the interior of my T. The gray side stripes , mirrors, clear glass, etc. I would miss that although the GT3 has a lot of its own uniqueness to love.

Also still feel the GT3 should have included back seats when you opted for the comfort seats instead of buckets. I know I am not alone on that.

My love of Porsche’s was created from childhood car rides in the back of 911’s, 930’s, and 944’s. I know my son is going to want to go for a ride.

I ll keep you guys in the loop as I am changing for the 992 GT3. I put my deposit at the same time I ordered my T in Oct 2018 / my 2019 build was 120k / white - I not gonna bother removing my extras which are full Akrapovic pipe, cats and carbon defuser. 12k / vector headers 3.5k & KW adjustable springs / 1k /. Car has 21k Miles / one owner just me. Parts put on the car with about 500 miles. Love the car very much - 393 whp on a dyno / no tune as I never wanted the problems. If they won,t give me 85-90k I prob just keep it and sell private. It’s gonna deffo be hard leaving the turbo but time move on and see what the natural motors are all about.

I agree with all of this!
I love the unique T features!
I will likely end up selling another one of my cars to be able to get a 911 with back seats so I can take my son for rides. He isn't even 2 and he absolutely is a car nut!
For now he can ride in the back seat of my wife's RS5 Sportback...but its just not the same...

Good Luck!

That's not a bad idea to do a PPI. But I wonder if a byer would want to have their own done anyway...
I am pretty sure I will wait to get my GT3T home - hopefully this coming week - and then I will list my T for sale.
Oak Green Metallic, Brewster Green, and Irish Green are my top choices for the GT3T. Oslo Blue is pretty sweet also.
But I am happy with the color I am getting for sure!
I will post pics when I get it home.
