Actually REALLY happy with it. For me, it’s the essence of what the Carrera T stands for. It’s not about the weight but enjoying the drive!!!

Was a little concerned venturing into the unknown 😜

Back into the Porsche Club after a absence due to raising a family. What a celebration after dropping off my youngest at U Miami.

New to me Carrera T

Nice T. ....My alma mater UM. Hopefully they’ll reopen the facilities. Everything has been closed since mid March.

Thank you Gauji. They are conducting classes with adjustments as they go along. My daughter said the two floors below her are on quarantine. She's afraid that her floor will be put on it also.

Congratulations! Both on your Carrera T and on your daughter going to university/college!

The T looks great in white!

Default Reconfigure your T!

The excellent work that egrossman has done on his T has inspired me to ask:

If you could magically reconfigure your T, what would you change, compared to the spec you have now?

I’ll go first (to answer my own question)

As my T is my sole car and daily driver, I’d keep my sat nav/PCM and heated rear window.

I’d still pick Racing Yellow, if PTS was still unavailable.

I’d opt for folding bucket seats (which were an option here in the UK) and PCCBs!

I’d also be tempted to add RAS.

And I’d keep my Litchfield Motors mods!

Hey all- I picked up a Carrera T back in July. Love it! The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the window tint (gotta show off that lightweight glass right?) I lived with it for about a month and noticed some distortion in the rear window that I wrote off as the tint. After having the tint removed it’s definitely the glass.

There’s a couple short comments on this in the forums, but it sounds like much less than I’m noticing. It’s really around all the edges. Normal for this glass?

I’d say not abnormal, but not prevalent. You should be able to get it swapped out under warranty as it is a known issue. IIRC, most of the few people withThe issue didn’t see it at first, but over time and like you, they picked up the distortion around the edges. Good Luck and Welcome!

For me I would add pccbs, and remove the RAS (not that there is anything wrong with it-mostly to free up funds on the pccbs). I would also add full leather (miss this from my gt4) and opt for the leather trim option instead of gloss black. I would probably go for a different color other than white (probably silver).

I think my ideal spec would be a white or black car, manual, no roof, PCCB, PDLS, standard front bumper, no RAS, LWB's with houndstooth inserts, alcantara wheel and shifter.

And yet I'm totally in love with a black, manual, glass roof, standard brakes, standard headlights, no RAS, 4 ways, leather multi function steering wheel example.

I would most likely do a silver car if I could have ordered new. The silver is just beautiful on these cars.

Aside from PCCB, my car is now spec’d exactly the way I would have ordered it. The PCCB is driving me crazy. Factory radio delete would be ideal as it would remove speakers and the small antenna on the back.

No worries, if that's the only thing missing there are a couple brake options which would likely end that longing.
Unless you're a brake dust nut.
