Thanks Guaji, I saw your post about the spec on your T and they are amazingly similar indeed. Also, mine came from Miami, private seller looking at a 992 PDK. Small world, huh!

If you dont mind sharing, can you share what the car sold for in the private market? Just trying to get an idea of real world non trade in values.

I found my car online in Nov. 2018. It was located in Dallas with only 724 miles. I have only seen one other T in Miami and I passed by it frequently while biking past the condo where it was parked. Maybe that is your T, who knows. It was parked at a condo building by the entrance to the Rickenbacker Causeway to Key Biscayne

Welcome to the T family Brother Steve! (SFZ GT3)
I am so glad you found your T close to home, it is a great build, and I am sure you will love it as much as I love mine!
Looking forward to our Smokies GT run in early October.....but remember RY is faster than CW.
Here is a pic of us picking up my T in JAX last November, the 53 year adventure continues!
Congrats!

Could be mine! The PO lived just off Biscayne Blvd in a gated community. His was an individual unit and he often parked it at the side of his driveway on the right. He owned it from April 2019 til I bought it last week.

Here is a pic I took in in his driveway.

  • Achatgrau Metallic LM7S
  • Quarzitgrau Metallic 3M
  • Vulkangrau Metallic 2H
  • Atlas Gray Metallic 6C2
  • Carbon Gray Metallic LM9Z
  • Meteor Gray Metallic 9Q
  • Lava Gray Metallic LR7M

Thanks, guys!

btw - it's my first post here so pls lmk if i should post this someplace else...
Guys, hope this is not improper etiquette, but wanted to thank you all again for your advice regarding my curb rash and tell you how things turned out.

I removed the wheel myself, left the car on jack stands, and actually had my local PCNA dealer refinish the wheel. They of course sent it out, but I suppose I was more comfortable going through them. Plus, they would have given a pcar loaner. Anyway, the wheel turned out essentially perfect and only cost $130 - which i think is a pretty good price (at least in this area), especially considering the dealer's markup. Oh, and they did it same day.

In the process, i also discovered that my local mechanic - which does a ton of pcar work - way over torqued my wheel bolts when i had them swap out the summer wheels. i also suspect they didn't apply any of that high temp grease to the aligning tabs on the hub. was kind of disappointed by the discovery, but suppose that sort of thing is not uncommon.

Anyway, thanks again!

Glad to hear you got it sorted, and reasonably, in the end. Well done!

Looking to a buy a low / no option T. There are a couple for sale. Where do you guys think we should land on price for a ~5k mile car? No accidents. 7 speed cars.

Thanks,
Josh

for a stripper? $90-$95. depends if CPO, exact mileage, etc.

collector spec (7 speed, sunroof delete, buckets, RAS) is in the $100-$105 range.

average $93-$100.

Thanks. Not collector spec; I want sofas as it will be a part time daily. Two are literally zero option cars. Both around 5k miles. The third has RAS and Sport Chrono; also ~5k miles. None are CPO; all are sunroof deletes.

get RAS if it's not much price difference. if unreasonably, do without it. it's for sure worth it, but also doesn't make or break the car if you're on a tighter budget.

I thought they all came with sport chrono?

Also if you want the sofa's, sunroof etc, why not just get an S? never really understood that.

I do not want a sunroof. Looking at T's for the little touches that were included; less sound deadening, lower gear ratio, etc. Plus I think it will hold it's value better.
